Don't waste your money or your time: After an…read moreaccident that was the other driver's fault, Chuck grossly failed to do his job as our insurance agent: 1) Chuck was unresponsive to time-sensitive phone calls and emails (he was in town and working regular hours, so there is really no excuse)--in one case, we heard from him three days later. 2) With only a few days left on our insurance-covered rental to replace our totaled car, Chuck told us what he should have said two full weeks earlier right after the accident: that we should work with the other driver's insurance company rather than with adjustors at Illinois Farmers Insurance (Chuck's employer). We wasted two full weeks of talking to the wrong people, with barely a peep from Chuck, though he was Cc'd on all communications. 3) Rather than acting as liaison with the other driver's insurance company--which, by the way, is part of an insurance agent's job--Chuck told us to contact them ourselves and that we were essentially on our own. After 15 years of loyalty, we deserved better than to be left out in the cold by this agent. What the hell have we been paying for? Needless to say, Chuck Olsen has lost our business. Chuck, if you're reading this, good luck staying in business. You're going to need it.
