They had city permit done and utilities marked,posts set and fence installed in less than a week.!!!The installers were great. Had me come out and inspect the work, check gates etc . They cleaned up everything and pulled all utility flags out of ground on their way out. Kindness, efficiency, professionalism and great work is how I would describe my experience!

That said, if I had seen a review like this I certainly would have made a different choice. I contracted in January with Burge to install a new fence and paid them half the price at that time. The installation was scheduled to start the first week in April. They contacted me in late March to tell me that the materials were on the way and they would be starting on time. I arrange my schedule accordingly as I thought it would be good for me to be there when they did the install. When it came time to start they told me that the materials were in town but they could not get to the truck to have them unloaded which delayed the start by a few days. After a few days they notified me that the installation will once again be delayed because they forgot to mark the property for utilities. When they finally started the installation there were at least five times when the crew said they would be there and did not show up at all. This included leaving my old fence piled up in my yard for several days. This was without any communication whatsoever. The job was further delayed by incorrect measurements for the gates that were to be installed and when they did deliver the gates they didn't work. During this entire process I tried to talk to the owner of the company to discuss the issues, but he continually ignored my messages. The final product is fine, not great. No fence is going to be perfect. The end product would have been acceptable but for the awful customer service. The communication was terrible and there were numerous days well I was wondering whether they would show up or not. I kept him updated every step with my frustration and gave them a chance to make it right when it came to the final invoice. They offered a very low and unacceptable accommodation. I told him it was unacceptable and that I would pay the full invoice and proceed as an unhappy customer. I am sure there are other fence companies who can install a similar quality fence with much better customer service. I have texts, emails and photos to support all of this. I was a little nervous given the recent reviews of Burge but they had the product I was needing, they had the best timeline by far (we were desperate to get it up!), and price was still competitive. Chris was great to work with. We had several bumps with our HOA but Chris was patient and worked through it with us. Really nice guy and finished product looks great. Give him a try!

The deck boards started coming up less than 4 months after install. The posts were not installed square so the rails are crooked. Have a rail that is splitting. Another rail board is twisted. Another part of rail looks chewed up. Concrete pad at bottom of stairs is higher than it should be. Was told 1 year warranty. Finally heard back after several calls, hoping they will resolve the rail problems.

Shortly after the work was completed, I noticed that the shower was leaking at the connection point to the pipe. I promptly informed him of the issue, expecting it to be addressed as part of the original installation. On January 22nd, he responded that he could come out to take a look, but mentioned a $75 service fee for the visit. Given that the problem appears to be directly related to the initial installation, I found this unexpected. I replied, asking him to let me know when he would be in the area so he could stop by and assess the issue. It has now been nearly two months, and I have not received any follow-up or resolution. Meanwhile, the shower faucet continues to leak. I would have appreciated more accountability and communication to resolve the problem in a timely manner.
