I've had at least 4 cars tinted by Robbie. The work has always been great and reasonably priced. On one of my cars, the tint began to bubble. I took it in and he replaced it at no cost to me. I thought that was awesome, considering that tint had been on the car at least 4 years. I recently drove by their shop to get an estimate on a couple more cars only to see that they closed. Their Facebook account indicates they'll be back at a new location sometime this summer. Hopefully soon because I need some tint done. read more

Took in my 2018 Hyundai Sonata for the ceramic tint. Customer service was excellent and they were willing to work with my busy work schedule outside of their normal business hours. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tint job. They also come with a free warranty! Help support your local businesses and give them a call, you won't be disappointed. read more

Wanted to do a full car wrap on the FJ. Research some chops in LA and Bakersfield before I decided to go with RBI. Exceeded my expectations!! The FJ's exterior color is black cherry pearl. Wanted to go with a matte green but Robbie gave some suggestions and decided laminate the matte green. Robbie from the start told me that it was a big project, to have patience. Robbie always provided updates. Also applied bed liner on-front & back push guard, roof rack, front grill, front & rear bumper, rear bumper plastic, exterior plastics, and rims. Also tinted the windows! (70 percent for the front 2 doors, 5 percent for the rear windows) Quality work!! read more

Robbie did a great job with my tint... would definitely recommend. Pricing was competitive as well.

I have taken 2 of my vehicles here and never had an issue until the bubbles appeared on one of my cars. I called and scheduled to have my windows retinted, then the day before my appointment I called to confirm that the appointment was still on as I had to take time off work for this, lady confirmed we were still a go so all set so I thought! An hour before my scheduled appointment I get a text message not a call but a text message canceling my appointment due to the weather. The weather, which was the same the day before when I confirmed my appointment is now an issue? Complete bs they then go on to text me that all of February doesn't look like good weather to retint my car that we will have to wait till March! What bs I will be taking my business somewhere else and I advise other to do so as well nice tint and service until you get bubbles. No, I do not wish to put up with your unprofessionalism and excuse after excuse about fixing my tint. I will find a shop and gladly pay to have the tint redone with respectful professionals. read more

Always very nice and do an awesome job. This is the second vehicle they have tinted for us. The best

They did a great job on my daughter's car. We did have to reschedule a couple of times due to the weather, since they were removing her window tint and reinstalling. They went above and beyond once they were able to do it and she is a happy camper even now a year later. I will be taking my new car to them to have the windows done. I highly recommend. read more

This place truly cares about excellent customer service. They are proud to do so, too, which I think is a rare quality. I found RBI years ago with a Yelp coupon. I had all of my sedan's windows tinted. At one point about a year or so later, the back window started bubbling up. I reached out to them, and they said they would take care of me, but it was at the height of the pandemic and I wasn't able to bring my car in for quite some time. Nonetheless, probably a year later, they honored it and fixed my back window for free. It's important to note that the manufacturer they had been working with had sent them bad tint product and, because RBI is awesome, they were fixing every single issue that came from that batch with a better product (3M). My car looks wonderful and I didn't have to pay anything to have it done, even though it clearly added a lot of work hours onto their plate to fix everyone's. They also let me hang out in the shop for a few hours. Can I just say that Jewel and her daughter are hilarious and fun and kept me great company? They're awesome! Jewel makes a ton of the stuff she sells in the shop, so it's always fun to come by and see what's new. The level of care and honesty that exudes from this place is kind of infectious. This is the way to do business! I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

So I had my truck done a few years ago and was happy.i was offered a discount for a 5 star review which I declined. Fast forward today. I had made an appointment a week and a half ago and dropped off my car this morning and was told it would be 2.5 to 3 hours to do. At just under 3 hours later I was called and told that they were unable to do any work due to power issues. A little heads up would have been nice. But when I picked my car up I was told a different story as to why nothing was done. Something sure seemed fishy. At least I was only out of my car for a few hours and not any money. Looks like I will be searching for a new tinter, hopefully someone who can communicate more openly and honestly. So 2 visits, 1 great and 1 abysmal, hence the new 3 star review. read more

Great service affordable prices and super friendly staff. Thanks again guys! Will be back in the future.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! Before I came in, I messaged them to get a quote, to which they replied promptly. When I came in, and not only did I get 5 windows tinted (took only about an hour ish) but I purchased a super, super cute piece of furniture from the boutique that's up front. They are very nice people and I highly recommend coming here! read more

Best customer service in Bakersfield! The husband and wife team treated my daughter and me like family. I highly recommend!

I got my fiancée car done here and so far it looks great. They knocked out it in an hours and she is very pleased with the job. The price was the best in town and you even a discount for checking into yelp. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a small family where the wife runs her boutique in the front and the husband runs the shop in the back. Support small businesses. Plus they give a set of instructions on how to care for your tint if it is your first car. read more

Just had a full window tint job completed by Robbie on our 2013 Jetta and I can only echo Sabrina's review. He did a fantastic job at a great price that comes with a lifetime warranty. Jewell went above and beyond spending the time to help explain the different tints and even allowed my wife and I to sit in their truck to help us decide. He and his wife Jewell are a husband/wife team running their own shop that includes a personal and housewares custom boutique in the front of the store with Robbie doing all sorts of vehicle customization and window tinting in the back. Champs BBQ is right next door which is perfect for grabbing a drink or a bite to eat while you wait as well. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles to them it the future. Simply can't beat them for quality, price, and professionalism. read more

I went to RBI based on reviews and proximity to work and do not regret it at all. They got me scheduled in at a time I could make within a few days. The tinting was done fast, and at a very reasonable price. It's been about a week now since the tint was done and the job they did was excellent. Very few bubbles and little haze to begin with, and it's all gone now. Given their performance I have already recommended them to others, who've given me the same feedback. I'm in process of getting more work done by them which should speak for itself. read more

Great customer service and when I got in touch with them through Yelp. They were quick to give me a response. To me that alone is 5 stars because sometimes we don't have the time we need to call. She made the appointment and I was in. Two hours later my car was done. Also great price with great work. I use Yelp all the time, I love to read the reviews and you guys have good reviews because your work ethics. read more

Make sure to check out RBI Tint!!! This is the second vehicle I have brought to him and definitely not the last! Great price for the product and service received and he works super fast! He did a re-tint in less than 20 minutes on my sons car due to a vandalism at NO CHARGE!! That is customer service!! You won't find a better price in town I can guarantee that! Robbie takes pride in his craft and it shows! Make sure to see him for all of your vehicle customization needs- he does vinyl and wraps among a bunch of other stuff. Don't forget to check out his wife Jewell's shop- The Designer Image; lots of goodies, purses, wallets, scarves and custom furniture pieces. Thank you RBI once again! read more

Great prices and people. Very good workmanship and quality products. Highly recommend this place.

I sent them a message and they replied promptly. Price was reasonable for tinting both front and back windows. Set up appointment all through Yelp. It was painless. When I arrived they greeted me and took my keys. When I got my car back I was pretty happy with the results. I would highly recommend. My only complaint, not worthy of taking off a star, but still a complaint, was the wait. 3 hours! You can't do anything in that area for 3 hours. Except maybe see planes take off. read more

Robbie, the owner and his wife did a great job on tinting both my wife and son's car. I originally contacted Robbie via the Internet and conversed through yelp. It was easy to set up appointments with them and get the cars in and out timely. Each car took about 3 hours average. They were good about telling us when the car was ready or if there was a delay. Both knew how to take care of their customers. Glad that their location was on Merle haggard which was the closest to our house. All other tinting places were either by white lane or downtown. read more

All I can say is that RBI Tint is fantastic! From their customer service to their quality of work! I have used many companies in town for my tinting and customization needs. I found RBI and decided to give them a try. Not only was I impressed with the great product they provide but also the professionalism with which they conduct business! I had my windows tinted here on a Saturday morning. My ride came down w/flu that morning, so I ended up waiting while tinting was done. Everyone working or visiting his shop and his wife's store that morning, and especially his wife and family, were VERY nice, friendly and accommodating. The store has lots of nice items, not found elsewhere, if you're shopping for something special for yourself or others. I checked the windows after the job was completed and, so far, I am very pleased with the tinting, the cost and the total process, from scheduling to completion! I have read reviews where people said they couldn't reach shop with problems after tint. My opinion, while waiting in the shop, was that they are pretty busy. His wife was handling MANY calls, professionally. I'd be very surprised if you're unable to reach them by phone or through YELP. Additionally, they are open most days, if you choose to drop by. I saw NO issues with customers being unable to contact and speak with someone directly. read more
