The S-Bahn system has many lines across many stations, and is probably the least accessible in terms of wheelchairs on the network, mainly down to the high step to get on and off the train in most cases, and the fact most of the stations don't seem to have lift or ramp access.
The average speed is just short of 40 kmph, which is around 24 miles per hour, which isn't exactly high speed especially when compared to the UK, where we are used to driving 30 miles per hour on normal roads, so this shows this public transportation system is only meant for shorter distance travel such as within Berlin, so could be quite frustrating having to go to a further distanation such as Berlin-Schonefield Airport.
The layout of the stations make it more inconvenient than using other public transportation systems such as buses and the U-Bahn which was the main reason I avoided the S-Bahn system, other than when first arriving in Berlin, in favour of the other two modes of transportation, hence the reason I sadly feel the Berlin S-Bahn deserves a single one star rating.
