The first words when they arrived where we are professionals. We have this....moving a refrigerator. They refused to remove any doors that were in the way and upon delivery to the new address, they requested I sign a waiver to not hold them liable for getting the fridge in the house. I finally gave up due to multiple comments from the 4 man crew and 1 refrigerator. Lack of tools was also an issue as well as 2 hours late to the job. I tipped them and had them place it in the garage after a 400.00 dollar charge. This was a horrible experience! read more

I hate that I can give them a star. They don't deserve even 1. They were late the first day (there was only supposed to be one day). When they got there, they decided they couldn't do the whole move. Said they'd come back the next day for furniture. They were late the second day as well. They did a crappy job offloading. They blocked traffic and refused to correct it. Awful. Just awful. And they charged double the quote because of THEIR incompetence. Sleeping on the floor is awesome. Especially for a bunch of old people. Thanks guys! read more

Razorback Moving did an amazing job for us, picking up a heavy item in a nearby town, bringing it to us, and rearranging several items in our home to accommodate the new item. The movers were strong, their attitude was great, and the price was reasonable! We would definitely use their service again. read more

At 6pm, the night before my daughter's move scheduled for 9am the next morning, we received a random text from another company notifying us that Razorback pushed our move over to them. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful for Razorback to do this. They lacked the courtesy to even give us a choice of booking another moving company. We were a repeat customer who had great service last year. The company they booked us with was short handed and took twice as long to move us. Our cost was double the price quoted by Razorback. We are thankful that we at least had a mover. They did the best they could without an accurate job description...or really any information other than our phone number. . I would strongly discourage using Razorback movers. I booked them months in advance. I have yet to hear from them with any sort of explanation or apology. Don't trust them to show up! read more

Absolutely horrible experience with this moving company! I would steer clear. Awful packing/loading job that caused so much unnecessary damage to our furniture and belongings. Movers were rude and unprofessional, too. Owner came to final destination and then turned rude when it came time to make a claim. 20+ pages of damages and in the end we didn't even file. Just wanted to be done with these incompetent fools. We are paying for repairs/replacements ourselves. This was our 6th move and we've never experienced anything like it. AWFUL! read more

This company moved my mother from her home to an assisted living facility (3 miles). It took less than 45 minutes. I was quoted $176/hour with a 2 hour minimum - $352 when I booked the company. When the movers arrived they said the cost would be between $375-$380. They said they had just finished a job in Rogers and that was about what it cost. Then they told me payment had to be in cash or a card with a 6% charge. When I booked the moved I was not given any information that payment had to be in cash. I went to an ATM and got cash. When they arrived they told me the cost was $390. I told them I wanted my change $7.00. I was told they did not have cash and they would take what I had. I signed a receipt and did not get a copy. I would not recommend using this company. read more

If you are looking for fast, fair, competent movers, keep on looking. I booked a move in advance and received a call the night before confirming a 9:00 arrival time. The next morning, I received a call from the mover stating that they were short handed and asked if we could push it back until noon. I said yes and started doing some of the many chores associated with a move. I received another call at 11:00 saying they had finished and would be over in 20 minutes. I was at the new house meeting with someone but left when I arrived at the house to be moved, they told me I had a lot of stuff and one of the guys had to pick up his child and the move would have to be broken up into two days but that it would save me money. They said they would just take the boxes. I agreed and my family slept on the floor at the new house as that's where all our things now were. They told me they would meet me promptly at 8:30 the following morning but we're over an hour late, didn't move all the furniture, blocked traffic at the new house and when a neighbor (heck of a first impression) came to complain, they gave him attitude. When I asked them to move the truck to allow cars to pass they said they were almost done and said it would be too hard to move things. They didn't assemble anything. We are refinishing the floors downstairs so many things could go in the garage. I could have hired very strong preschoolers who would have been more competent and attentive. We worked harder on this move than any in my history, and I have moved dozens of times. And the price was twice the estimate. Awful experience. read more

Razorback Moving - This is the way they put the couch in the house - Movers Near Me - Fayetteville, Arkansas

Let me start with saying that if I could give the guy directing my move six stars then I would: he was a very knowledgeable, professional black guy (Terry?) who packed my storage unit in a way that meant I can still access my stuff. Amazing! He kept everything going smoothly and I am very happy with that part. The part that was frustrating was that when they showed up they told me they only accept cash, after the person I booked my move with assured me I could pay by card. It had been a very long move from another state already so I was out of cash, and scrambling to get cash at the last minute was an added stressor that could have been avoided by them telling me this up front. There were some other issues with communication as well, and overall I get the impression this is a fairly loosely run organization. But the actual movement of my items was great, hence the three stars. You just really, really need to stay on top of them and clarify every point to get good results!! read more

We called them and they wanted itemized list of all our stuff. I think they may have wanted weight and dimensions too. We felt they were too hard to work with. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Hired them several days before a move (needed them to unload a truck) and had a confirmed time of 9am on the day of the move. The day of the move rolled around and they called to say they had a mixup and it would probably be around 11:30. Then they called to say it would be 1:00. They they called to say they couldn't give me an ETA but it would be "a long time". Then they stopped answering their phones and just didn't show up. read more

I don't know how this company remains in business!!! I spoke to three other friends after the incident I had with them yesterday and every one of them said razorback did the same thing to them. No call, no show. Not even a call to acknowledge their mistake to apologize...absolutely zero communication from this company. If you're expecting to actually get moved do not rely on razorback! They'll just leave you high and dry without even a phone call to notify you. I booked them a month ago to move me out yesterday. We schedule a 9am arrival time and I even called them on Wednesday to confirm the date, time and location. I was guaranteed by the owner of the company they would be there. 9 rolls around, 9:30, still no show and no call...finally I call all 8 of their locations around the a country multiple times and no one answered. Finally at 10:30 I'm contacted by someone who says they're trying to help razorback out and then can get to me in a couple of hours. They never showed up either, so my 64 year old dad (who had a heart attack a month ago) and I had to move my stuff out of a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator because I had to be out by a certain date in order to not incur any penalties. This company has absolutely no business being around! Locally owned or not they have zero respect for their customers. I'm just in complete shock this company is even in business if this is how they handle things. My advice to anyone looking to hire razorback...DON'T DO IT. read more

They moved me and broke the glass to my China cabinet. When I called them, they started making all kinds of false allegations in their defense. The China Cabinet was my Mother's set that was $2,000. They set it against the wall in the back, so I could not see it. When I went to get my things out of storage, the glass was shattered. The China Cabinet is a 3 man job. It was not moved at anytime. They were the last ones to touch it, because it was in storage way in the back facing the wall and no one else could get to it. I had to move everything in the front of the storage to even get to the China cabinet. Now their false allegation is probably someone at the storage came in and broke it. That is how ridiculous they are. Additionally, the guys that moved me hit me up for a tip, because they stated they did not charged me for the complete time. Please read the reviews and do not use them. He said read the website once we leave the merchandise they are no longer responsible. read more

Hi, this is ***** we've spoken several times since my initial request for packing and moving support before the 15th of November. I had originally planned to be out by the 19th. Since my initial quote and booking, you rescheduled the day of the move due to a pair of movers family issues. The next day no call/no show. The third reschedule, your men arrived two hours late (you told me I would be the first appointment of the day at 9:00) and they were unprepared- no boxes for packing. Since then I have packed and moved most of my things but still need help with furniture and hanged clothes- not enough work to fill your 2 hr minimum requirement. I've called you multiple times since the last encounter, left several messages and it is clear that you are avoiding me. I thought I'd give you an opportunity to redeem yourself before my yelp review. I've paid 1/2 month rent at the house I'm moving from on top of rent at my new location because of your poor service. I have been sleeping in my car at night as my mattress is at my old location and that location's gas was shut off on the 19th. Call me today or I'm going public. Update: the rude manager did call me and offered me a 10% discount. No thanks. This place doesn't deserve your business. read more

This company is constantly late, with disrespectful and rude employees. Booked them to load for a move. They called 20 min after they were supposed to be there to "see if we still needed them" and ended up being an hour late. Laborers did an okay job with the load. Booked them 2 days later to unload. Again, called 20 min after they were supposed to be there to confirm the address and said they'd be there in 4-5 hours! I called the office to find out what happened in the time discrepancy. It rained that morning so they were a bit delayed. Okay, I get that. They gave me an updated arrival time. 40 min after that time I called again for a no show and they assured me they were on their way. Another hour later, still no show. They were rude and said all they could do was communicate with me a time...which is exactly what they did not do. When I called to cancel, they would no longer answer the phone. I left a voice mail and about 2 min later the driver called to let me know they were on their way and would be there in 40 minutes. I said no thank you, that my team could waste no more time waiting on them, they were no longer needed. The driver continued to argue with me until I just said, no. They took no initiative and could care less that they were rude or hours upon hours late after multiple false promises of time. read more

Worst experience EVER with a local business. Constantly changing times and stories and, in the end they didn't show.

I made an appointment for the Fayetteville AR movers to show up at 9 a.m., they did not show up until after 1 p.m. because they overbooked. They also took a 30 minute lunch break that I ended up paying for. I did not receive a receipt for this transaction either. I rented furniture moving pads from u haul and had around 20, they used these to put over my plastic boxes versus my expensive wood furniture. Due to this fact my dresser and desk was scratched deeply. They were fast at getting everything into the u haul but I later realized this was due to the fact that they broke my u-shaped desk in half because they could not figure out how to take it apart I assume. I called the manager/owner of this establishment named Dave believing that it might have just been bad employees and only asked for this to be looked into and to receive a call back about what he could find out. I did not ask for any money for the damage caused or for the lunch break I had to pay for. It has been over a week and I have received no phone call back about this or the receipt I asked to be emailed to me. I believe I was treated this way because I was moving out of state and they did not believe they would have to deal with me any further. I have moved several times for my job and this is the ONE place that I would not recommend. read more
