The shave was amazing - won't lie, I think I peed a little when I saw that straight razor! But Lauren made me feel comfortable and had a very steady hand. It was a Great looking place, and the hospitality was awesome. I had a few beers while waiting to get my haircut, too. All of the barbers are great, and it's a great place for my kiddos to get their haircuts, too. They also have this super cute little dog called Zelda walking around the shop to greet everyone. If I could, I would give them way more than 5 stars. Roger took care of my son and I last time and today we got to meet Zac. I contacted them via voicemail this morning asking if they could do two cuts at about 5:15. Less than 10 minutes later I got a message to come in at our requested time. We arrived a little early and Zac got to work on my son. He was amazing with him! Then he did my cut and a razor shave. He even stayed late to get it done. You really couldn't ask for two people who go so far out of their way to give the best customer service possible. Down to earth and honest, along with great service is hard to find. Good vibes only at this shop! There's something for everyone. The shop is very clean and stylish. A few months ago I made an appointment for my 3yo but we walked in, he flipped out, and wouldn't get in the chair because of previous bad experiences. Roger offered to let us borrow clippers to cut it at home. What an amazing, sweet gesture but we already have professional clippers at home and said we'd try again later. I brought my boyfriend back because I liked the look of the shop and wanted him to get a birthday haircut. I got the whole package for him since he's never had that before. Roger really cleaned him up and the hot towels with a shave is always a nice touch. My son watched his dad get his haircut and now says he wants one too! They even have their own little merch line which is pretty cool. The owner is very proud of his business and it shows. A nice gem to have in Tehachapi. read more
