They got the A/C running and recharged the system. I told them I was ready to pick up the vehicle and planned to get other quotes for the water pump repair. While I was waiting, they continued testing the A/C. According to their own text to me, they tried turning it on, blew a fuse, then blew three more fuses, and ultimately told me the compressor was now completely shorted out. Then they told me it wasn't their fault and that it was simply "something that happens." That's unacceptable. I took my vehicle to a professional expecting them to know when to stop testing a system with a known electrical/moisture issue. Instead, I ended up with what I was told was a damaged compressor and a $286 bill. I could have made that decision myself. I paid a professional to protect my vehicle, not make the problem worse and then tell me it wasn't their responsibility. Very disappointed.
