Soda fountain was fun. The menu had an assortment of offerings. I had a parfait and my husband had a specialty shake. Both were good. Satisfied our sweet tooth cravings. The pharmacy part has a few items of interest. Worth checking out. read more

I really like the service in the pharmacy and the store ! Both are helpful, knowledgeable, professional and yet friendly, relaxed and human!! There are several things to buy and see in the store area and they have a fantastic, awesome, beautiful and totally antique fountain bar; which they serve the best rootbeer ( made not bought) and floats in other flavors and varieties, as well as homemade goodies to accompany them! While driving in the middle of nowhere for hours this place was the first place we saw to stop at. This place is a pharmacy but has a bar where they serve ice cream and different sweets. My ice cream was good. Nothing fancy but since it's the only thing out in the middle of nowhere it was worth the stop. read more

Just discovered this old fashioned soda fountain right off I70 in quinter ks - vanilla ice cream soda and vanilla coke good bets.

Definitely the coolest place in the middle off no where. Delicious shakes and floats, nice people, and a beautiful hand carved bar. A must see for people looking to take a break from the purgatory of I70. read more

Great fun seeing a beautiful vintage soda fountain and enjoying ice cream treats. Very neat and tidy store and friendly employees.

Nice stop in a small town, a welcome break from I-70. The shake and ice cream cone we ate were very good, and reasonably priced. The lady who served us (I believe one of the owners) was friendly and pleasant. It is not fast-food, so don't expect them to pull a handle, and your ice cream is ready; it takes time to make a good shake, and she was careful to pack plenty of ice cream on the cone. The bar and bar-back were originally made in 1904 in New York, she said, but they purchased it from California. A nice small-town hardware store and drug store are also a part of the operation, and we enjoyed browsing in them. All in all, a very enjoyable experience! read more
