we used living fresh recently to create the flowers for our wedding in waterloo, ON (bouquets,…read morecorsages, centrepieces, small flower arrangements, etc). i could not be happier with the work that they did or our experience with living fresh throughout the entire process. the flowers alone made our venue spectacular! while i knew generally what my style was, i certainly didn't have specific design requirements or ideas. i gave tina some guidance in terms of colours and style, pinned a number of pictures that i liked, and let her run with it. after seeing photos of her work leading up to the wedding i knew that we were in good hands, and yet when i saw the flowers and venue for the first time that evening i was absolutely stunned at how perfect they were. she executed a vision that i didn't even know i had, but the flowers were exactly what i wanted. not only was tina a complete professional to work with throughout the process, but she was calm, cool, and collected on the day of our wedding despite the fact that it was total chaos on our end. amazing work, could not recommend her highly enough.

It clearly was not a fresh orchid. You could see where several blossom's had already fallen off and there were no new buds which you always find on a fresh orchid. I have had orchids for many years and you can expect them to last at least 2 months. In this case the orchid started to die in 5 days. When I received the orchid it had been clearly overwatered. This orchid should never been sold. I phoned Cameron's to express my concern and after being passed to various people, the person I talked to seemed to be in charge. The person offered no solutions to the problem. Good customer service would have meant they would have replaced the orchid. I know that Cameron's has changed hands over the last several years and it is not the florist the original owners had created. The quality of their flowers. is simply inferior. We stopped using them as our florist several years ago and I am going to advise my son to stop using them as well.

I found Charmed Flowers right downtown Waterloo, near King and Erb. Although the location was listed as a 2 King street North address it's entrance was just around the corner on Erb Street. I called the shop and there was a friendly message with detailed information and indicating the person would call back within two hours. Within a few minutes I received a call back and I inquired about their "grab and go" service which referred to lower priced flowers on a first come first serve basis that were available after 230pm and a picture of the actual flowers were advertised on their website. The woman was very professional and kind and directed me to the display of those particular flowers. It appears most of their business is done through online advanced orders. I chose two sets of flowers and was pleased with the flower arrangement. The flowers looked lovely but a few were getting older but that made sense as that is why they were being sold at a reduced price in the 'grab and go' selection. I was happy with the florist and happy with the visit. I would recommend this shop for flowers online. What they offer and the approach and limitations were clearly explained on their website. I was pleased with my overall experience including her effort in wrapping the flowers and the information.

In the morning, the estimated delivery was between 12:00-2:00 pm but did not arrive until 3:30 pm. What was disappointing was the discrepancy between the photo and the bouquet that arrived. First off the alstroemeria were a pale sickly green-yellow rather than the pictured white and pink. Naturally, substitutions happen with floral arrangements, but the issue was that it made the bouquet look uglier and was an unpleasant colour. It took away from the pastel colour palette which was the entire reason I decided to buy this particular bouquet. Additionally, the bouquet was more sparse than the picture which was especially upsetting because I paid an additional $10 to upgrade from standard to deluxe to avoid exactly that. The deluxe package didn't even look as full as the picture, so the difference between standard and the photo is probably sizeable. TLDR; picture is not the same as the bouquet delivered. The substitution was not flattering and the actual bouquet is more sparse.

Since this was for a guy, I asked if she can replace the pink ribbon with another color. Not only she replaced it with red but also offered to replace pink roses with red ones without any extra charge. I loved the fact that she cared about how the bouquet looks and suggested color change when needed. My boyfriend loved the bouquet, and said it smelled beautiful. In fact, apparently the flowers were alive for almost two weeks and smelled strong even after days. Overall, it's a great and affordable service. I'd definitely suggest it for Kitchener-Waterloo area.
