She said that she could charge for it but she enjoys doing the notarizing and it just takes a couple of minutes. I have spoken to a few people that use them for book keeping and payroll and they are very pleased with the entire staff here. I also was having issues with Quickbooks and she was able to walk me through the steps I needed to get things to work properly. Thank you Barbara! Your GREAT!!!

Hello,…read more Administrative Insights graduated from the BEC program in 2008 to go independent and has been successful since then. The Business Enterprise Center (BEC) is a business accelerator where you can launch a start-up in a supportive entrepreneurial environment. The BEC supports the development of early-stage companies during the start-up period when they are most vulnerable. After serving the BEC for a number of years, last year Barbara stepped down from the board of directors in good standing. Even afterwords, she continued to work with and train the BEC staff on transferring our accounting system from QB on-line to QB desktop and the database differences. The transfer was successful and we are still using the system today. Her recommendation and help to transfer the accounting system continues to save our organization significant amount of money and that contribution is greatly appreciated.

I was looking to find a new CPA in the area, after moving here from California. I saw this Yelp…read morereview and was eager to get an appointment with Katrina. I have called 2 times and left voice mails that have never been answered. I also went to the web site and left a request for an appointment.....crickets. I have faith that her work is good, but communication is POOR.

Tl;DR: Use these people, they're awesome…read more In the beginning, there was a W2 for 5,000 hard earned dollars bagging groceries, my father's laughter at my ineptitude at making any money, and the beloved annual date with a nice young thing called the 1040EZ. Things were simple. I was broke. She knew I was broke. I knew she knew I was broke, but it didn't matter. She hung by. Along came better jobs. With those jobs? I got introduced through a friend to the standard 1040. While I'll spare you the cold hearted breakup story of the previous tax form, I'll just say things were still good. I had very few write offs. I still rented. I paid a few capital gains here and there, but I bought and held all 4 of my shares in homegrocer.com...that is until they and their freshly delivered vegetables rotted on NASDAQ. TurboTax to the rescue! Just answer a lot of questions (Still not blind or dead, although for the write deduction I just might be....)....and WHAMO, back to life. It wasn't simple, but it worked. Sine then however, things have gotten...complicated. That damned hussy of a tax form knows I've got some cash to throw around. A rental. A refinance. an actual spouse. Heck, we just had a kid. daycare write offs, mileage expenses. tools. stock losses. stock gains. Time. This all takes a lot of time. On top of that, the more things I had to calculate, the more turbo tax wanted to charge me. State forms. write off forms. Accountant review...I'm getting a headache just writing this. I didn't have a clue if I was actually doing things correctly, as can be evidenced by my expected letter right around June informing me I still owed the government cash. After discussing it for a few days, I asked around and found this wonderful accountant. She Listened to me miss-name virtually everything I said I had. She giggled, told me to provide a host of documents, and off we went. That was 4 years ago. We don't even live in Corvallis anymore, but we'll be damned if we go anywhere else. We use dropbox, e-mail, a couple of phone calls, and do just about everything over the phone. This company knows how to treat a customer, work around our busy schedules, and keeps my relationship with our tax forms from ruining our impacting our relationships with each other every year. No, she's not the least expensive person out there, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for. Go here, you won't regret it.

The current Circle Blvd. site branch manager, (Marc) has been more than pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. CWCCU helped me out of a tough financial situation after the death of my husband and my loss in the level of my income. I can never thank them enough. They continue to this day to be supportive, helpful, and kind. The staff at Circle Blvd site are a great group. Special kudos go out to one in particular for all the help and ongoing support she has given me during these past five years (you know who you are.) The teller was taking an inordinate amount of time and asking me questions that clearly showed she was confused about something. I asked what was going on and she said "we have to be very careful with these government checks. It was actually a distribution from another financial institution. I asked for the manager, who came out and addressed me like I was engaged in something criminal. Haven Seltman wouldn't tell me what was going on, and being quite haughty that I would dare to ask. Where's the customer service? They make more from my money than I do, and I don't need to be treated like that. I pointed out that I could have deposited the check at the ATM, and not have my time wasted like that. She handed back the check and told me to deposit it outside so my precious time wouldn't be wasted. I pointed out I have a third of a million bucks in that account, and I could take it elsewhere. As I was walking out, she called after me "we don't want customers like you, good riddance!" So, I'm taking my money elsewhere. You should too.

My husband and I were long-time on-time members at this bank. When we moved out of town, we…read moreswitched credit unions as OSCU is not close to the town we now live. While trying to get a mortgage in late 2025 I discovered a severely delinquent 25-month past due balance of $331 on my credit report from OSCU, dropping our credit substantially from 800+ to 640. The credit union did not do their due diligence to notify us of the past due amount. They claim they sent a letter in the mail (our old address and after forwarding services had ceased) and that they simply "dont have the time" to make any more effort to alert their members of past due balances. They did not attempt to contact me through any other channel and they never sent the debt to collections to be paid. The National Credit Union Administration explicitly states that institutions must have reasonable policies for member notifications, using all available contact channels (mail, phone, email) and account records to attempt outreach before reporting, particularly for small or first-time delinquencies. It is clear to me that Oregon State Credit Union does not care about their members, and they do not fulfill their responsibility to provide notice of issues. I have called several times and have been reassured by the staff that this will go away from my credit after 7 years. Totally unreasonable. It is not acceptable for long standing on-time members to pay the consequences for their failure to perform due diligence. Upon discovery, I attempted to pay this debt immediately but Oregon State Credit Union would not allow me to pay on the phone and required we bring a cashiers check or other guaranteed fund in person to pay. This was not a reasonable option as we live an hour or more away from the closest Oregon State Credit Union. I was able to pay this debt when I called back in March 2026 and was finally able to pay over the phone. You need to close your doors if you can't modernize and if you do not have the proper staffing to make good faith and reasonable attempts for payment.

Well, if you want the WORST most incompetent accountant, then use Leslie Witt and her husband,…read moreBill!!! Where to start...On my 2020 taxes, she missed a HUGE write off (my store lease payments!!! Nearly $50,000!!!) and filed the taxes before I reviewed them; I got a $26,000 tax bill. I was then able to go through them and found HER mistake and I got my tax bill reduced to $11,000, I DID ALL THE WORK TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, she did NOTHING!!!! She then charged me in excess of $1200 for doing the taxes a second time BECAUSE OF HER MISTAKE!!! I had fallen on bad times and had not filed 4 years of taxes; she told me that the additional $1200 was to file those 4 years taxes, come to find out A FULL YEAR LATER, she NEVER filed 2 of those tax years! So now, I have the IRS up my ass. Then she charged me $75 to make 1 copy of my 2020 taxes...$75, after she completely screwed up my taxes! Now, because I am changing accountants, she sends these petty, childish emails to me. BTW, I only used her for 1 year!!! And THIS is how bad she screwed my taxes and accounting up! Her husband, oh where to begin!!! He is arrogant, just an ego on legs and who ever would trust him with any legal issue with the IRS would have to be an idiot! Also, YOUR INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! The one time I did go to her office, there were client files, open, all over the desks, ANYONE could steal your info. She will send you to collections BEFORE sending you out a bill!! I just received a "past due" notice (for that $75) last week, I NEVER SAW AN INVOICE BEFORE LAST WEEK!!! And she threatens to send you to collections. I mailed her the check via certified mail so when she does report me, I can sue her and prove I sent it. JUST DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They are both nasty, arrogant, self-centered people and could care less about you or your taxes ALL they are concerned with is how much they can bill you, then, send you to collections so they can add a whole bunch of fees on. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL BE VERY, VERY SORRY!!! I know I am. The MOST incompetent people I have EVER met. And now, they won't send my information or files over to my new accountant, so there's a lawsuit. Save yourself, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
