The food vendors however were great and a decent amount of seating. Ample parking in the lot or the street. Very easy to navigate with a stroller.

There were some interesting stalls with various vendors selling their products. Plants, trinkets, jewelry, foods and fresh produce were available. There were a few empty stalls probably because we were early. Compared to other Farmers Markets it seemed to be small. It was well organized and clean. The vendors were friendly. The food stalls were in the sun. I think we will come back another time to try again.

There is an orchid vendor setup in front of city hall to indicate there is a farmers market.  It was $25 for the big orchids.  Lovely. The Juicing Gents had some delicious juices for sale.  I tried the blood orange guava, and passion fruit.  Wow!  There was an incredible burst of flavor from the blend of juices.  I have been a fan of POG juice since I visited Hawaii and this is the boldest and freshest version I have ever had.  I added some ice to it from my Tommy Bahama concoction maker and made a slushie.  Amazing drink.  Next time I see them I'll try some more flavors. 2nd visit. I tried the Juicing Gents again.  This time I had the tangerine/guava.  Loved the rich, sweet mix of tangerine and guava flavors.  Delicious.  Next time I'm gonna try the tangerine, passion fruit and guava. Strawberries were at peak ripeness and I loved the sweet strawberry flavor.  They were $15 for 3 packs. Le Rendez Vous French Bakery had baked goods.  French baguette had a thin crunchy crust and a nice mild flavor.  Very good but not on the Bread & Cie level. Del Mar Farmers Market is great if you are looking for a farmer's market with the essentials that is easy to get in and out of.  Next time I want to try the safron chicken and the honey.

I decided to get tofu pad see ew. It was going to be 15 minutes for them to make it, and it ended up more like 20 minutes. But I bought some super cute earrings from an artist who makes them from dried flowers. And the pad see ew turns out to be exceptional, one of the best versions I've ever had so it's highly recommended! Place your order first and then go shopping and come back to pick up your food.

All of the vendors are really friendly & knowledgable. This farmers market is extremely dog friendly so be aware if you have allergies. The only downside to this market is how rude people can be when it comes to their dogs. We've seen owners let their dogs go to the bathroom just steps away from vendor tents and it's disgusting. Overall a really nice farmers market with lots of yummy food & local produce.

We've always wanted to get fresh, warm and delicious bread and pastries from the Chaupain Bakery stand, but their line has always been insanely long. Luckily enough during our visit this past weekend, the line wasn't as terrible when we passed by them--you grab that opportunity without dilly dallying because a minute later, that can change real quick. We got a slice of their caramelized onion quiche, a strawberry bar, a chocolate chip muffin, and a bag of their brioche buns. Sooooo yummy! We also got Amapola's banana pudding and it was divine! The perfect dessert for a sweet tooth. It's served chilled, so creamy and not too sweet. I love that you still get some banana chunks in there too. Will definitely get this again the next time we visit! I was also in dire need of more coffee that morning, so I decided to get some from Wipeout Coffee. I got a large Iced Hazelnut Latte with oat milk. I was so happy to get to try new coffee from a local roaster! It was pretty good--I really enjoyed my drink--just an insane amount of ice even after asking for light ice. Their coffee was just so crisp and refreshing. They also have all kinds of fresh and vibrant greenery, flowers, and produce that are all just so hard to resist! Unless something drastic changes, we'll always come to visit this farmer's market.

I finally took…read morea long drive deep into Escodido and was rewarded with some really nice, organic mushroom compost. There are mountains of compost, and all you need is a big car (ideally a truck) and some muscle to scoop them up. Mushroom compost is high in salt so you need to be careful not to use too much with fruit trees. On the other hand, vegetables love mushroom compost. They also sell all kinds of mushroom varieties (Portobello, Shiitake, King Oyster, Cremini, etc.) at their front office for a pretty reasonable price (around $12/lb). Overall, a great place to get free compost, buy fresh mushrooms, and enjoy a country scenery ride in Escondido.

It's basically what we the public throw away in the green cans, and its not organic nor safe beside the toxic chemicals they use to kill bugs. Thats from a former employees mouth. Not sure if that has changed but i did question the whole situation after seeing trash truck delivery. After using this in my yard last year i started to question is free really worth it. They are firm, sweet and top quality. Blueberries shipped from overseas and most local growers can't hold a candle to these berries. It is so difficult to find good produce anymore. I wonder if California Fruit Co. raises watermelons? The ones in the store are flavorless. I need a good watermelon. Just follow the red brick wall towards the housing and you will see a entrance sign. Be sure to sign in on the kiosk. There is a greet at the front who was very friendly and told me how things worked. They also have gloves at the entrance to wear to protect their items.
