Huge shout-out to Yelp and the "Projects" feature!…read more I recently had a new fence installed, and unfortunately, the installers nicked a pipe, covered up a couple of sprinklers, and left me needing repairs ASAP. I submitted a request through Yelp Projects, and several companies responded. I LOVE this feature! The first company I contacted through Facebook Marketplace quoted me $1,270! I told them I wasn't about to let them bust me up and leave me leaking! After scheduling a few appointments through Yelp, C&L came out at 1:30 p.m. and sent Damien. He assessed the situation, gave me a fair price, and I accepted on the spot. I canceled my other appointments because I knew I had found the right person. Let me tell you, this young man has SKILLS! I watched him work, and this guy is a PRO! He got everything squared away faster than he originally estimated, used less equipment than expected, AND still had time to fine-tune my sprinklers. Damien didn't just do the job; he took pride in his work and made sure everything was taken care of. That kind of service deserves recognition! C&L, give this man a raise! Better yet, make him a trainer and have him teach your team how to deliver that same level of service. If you keep employees like Damien on your team, you'll never be short on customers! I highly recommend C&L! And Damien, if management is reading this, I hope they know what an asset you are to their company. Great service, fair pricing, and a job well done. Mikey came out and said that wasn't necessary, that he would charge $150/hr and could fix it in a couple of hours...6 days (most of which he showed up in the evening and staid until late into the night) and $3,450.00 later, this is what he left me with. He said he would come back and fix it, but after seeing the entirety of what he did, I don't want him back on my property to do more damage and leave more mess. The system not only looks crudely constructed, it doesn't work at all. I had the company installing my sod send their irrigation guy out to assess what would be needed to repair it properly, and yep, the whole job needs to be ripped out and re-done.
