After another area electrician dropped the ball on some electrical work that was supposed to be…read moredone prior to our move-in, our lovely realtor swooped in to suggest we get a quote from Thompson Electric instead as a trusted area company. Thompson provided us a quote that seemed reasonable given the extent of work - primarily replacement of the electrical panel - and I was able to schedule a time with them for the job to be done. They must be in demand because it was about 3 weeks out! On the scheduled day, the electrician promptly arrived early in the morning and set-up shop in our garage to complete the work. He kept me updated about when the electric would be shut off, when it was back on, checked all of the rooms to be sure he could notate which switches went to which areas of the house, and then explained the new panel configuration when the job was done. He was out there working for most of the day and even put up some painted board around the panel to hide that the drywall out there had to be cut for the work to be done. I was expecting we'd have to patch that up ourselves and now it looks quite nice!

Guy comes out, looks at the setup while standing 3 feet away and says it is good. He did not check the main water line for cracks or looseness, he did not manually check the clamps for tightness, and he really didn't do anything. $100 for that call. Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. Called Jennings and they sent a guy over to reconnect what they failed to secure (in my opinion). What a mess I found upon my return. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.

Finally afterward I get a call saying the technician got sent out on an emergency but that they had no idea? How do you not know where your technicians are at? This company tore up our gravel driveway when one of their contractors backed a truck and trailer…read morewith a heavy front end loader up on our property without permission. They also left huge ruts in our farm field. They had NO BUSINESS being on our property as Didado was working half a mile from our property. I made numerous calls about this and got no resolution. So shameful that Didado thinks it is their right to be on private property just because they are working in the area. We are still waiting for the load of gravel we were promised to replace what was drug down the road by the contractor. It had just rained a lot and the contractor had mud caked all over the tires after backing into our farm field and most of our gravel is gone now.
