Ray Birmingham is definitely a legend at New Mexico Junior College. He's a baseball legend in New Mexico really. Super nice, humorous guy if you ever get a chance to meet him. At least off the field. The Thunderbird Baseball Field has grown into a beautiful two-year Division I college stadium. There is one way into the stands - and they have stairs or a nice long ramp. The parking situation is the only disappointing thing here. My vehicle would be far away from foul tips. Lol. I really can't believe how nice they transformed this field. Freezing my butt off in the early spring cold wind or gasping for air in the late spring heat won't be so bad now. read more
