I used to travel often for my job and could not believe how good this place was. In the courtyard each morning at 7am, the owner or a representative would make omelet's, custom made to your order and they were prepared on an original covered chuck-wagon. Nice outdoor seating as well. Very relaxed place and a great stop if you find yourself needing a great place on your road-trip. We recommend the Best Western Pioneer in Lusk, Wyoming.

There's some really nice walking paths around the rest area as well as dog friendly spots. The area has a few historical plaques that you can read and learn from. Overall it is a kept up rest spot and clean. I wish it would smell better. Additionally, I've been to some rest stops that offer free WiFi and have vending machines. There's no vending machines here, but maybe someday they'll get some! To use the restroom in Lusk, you either have to stop here or the Sinclair that is more in town. There was also a shower house available for the other couple if they didn't want to use our bathroom. The bedding was cute, but the bed was a little weak for my giant of a husband. The springs moaned every time he moved. The host was able to check us in early. I love the old vibe. You can tell that they are working hard on improvements. I would stay here again.

(and, no lie, we are picky about where we stay). The room is always clean, the breakfast is always good, and the STAFF is the BEST! So so SO friendly and accommodating, they know us by face and names at this point and are always so easy to work with. They've only talked to me via phone really and they know to call me if they can't get a hold of my husband.
