I was a bit skeptical at first, after researching online they have some bad reviews. I just bought a BMW and didnt want to drop $2K out of pocket for new rims and tires. I had browsed the heck outta craigsist to try and find some nice but cheap rims and that got me nowhere. So I called rentawheel just to see what my options were. Now mind you Ive called around to other places and got the usual BS " just bring your car in so we can see what options are available" At any rate , I talked to AJ on the phone and he was nice and helpful and gave me plenty of options for my car. Admittedly I was shopping and it took me a couple weeks before I came in but even when I called him back to go over the pricing again he knew he had talked to me but was still friendly,patient and helpful. Fast forward I had the install done by "G" awesome guy, he is very knowledgable as well and knew info on all types of cars. I have put oversize rims on cars before and my fear was it would shake and vibrate at 60mph but G knew how to install properly and quick. My advice is for anyone wanting to use rentawheel, have a plan to pay it off in 90days like I did. The monthly payments for a full term can make your head spin, and Im sure thats the reason most people get upset, but these guys were great to make sure I knew exactly when and how much I needed to pay in order to pay off early. Oh and I waited to write this review until I was paid off and owned my rims and tires so I could truly be objective and honest. Other employees there were very nice to me and considering Ive ran into bad customer service in Orlando establishments these guys are all top notch! read more

I was skeptical at first believing they were going to be as most bad credit everyone is approved places but boy was I wrong. I first had the pleasure of working with Rafael, very knowledgeable, very respectful and would go out of his way to ensure you the UTMOST customer service. 2 weeks ago I was is need of 4 new tires REALLY bad. I was very ashamed having to rent but what the heck safety is first. I called rent a wheels off Semoran....the guys had nothing but great kind customer services,they went over all the docs that's needed. The next day I stop by to check the store out...my luck they were close at 9 am....however the manager came outside to greet me...he was kind with a outstanding attitude. I told him what type of tires I was requesting...this store had none... The manager called around to others stores to find them. Later that day one of the staff called me to let me know they found my tires to come in. When I arrive later that even the staff and manager had nothing but SUPER!! CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was after hours the staff worked as a team. All personal docs are secure so no identity is stolen. They explain everything word from word....page to pages. I just purchased new wheels and tires at Rent A Wheel. I was able to buy the wheels I wanted at a discount since they were used. The wheels had no scratches or dents they look new to me. The tires are new and look great on my car. My only complaint is that they really push the rental agreements, they should be more accepting and supportive of straight buying. I would have awarded 4 stars based on the purchase experience but their service team deserves 6 stars. When I went back to have the lugs checked Gerry noticed all the bolts on my rear struts were loose and about to fall off. I just had my struts replaced 3 weeks ago apparently that service center only hand tightened the rear struts. Gerry suggested that he tighten them before I leave. Him and another team member went above my expectations they put my car on the lift and tightened all the rear strut bolts. They checked the front bolts to ensure they were tight. I would not have known there was a problem until it was serious if not for the service team. Thanks. read more

The management team at Rent a Wheel @ the Semoran location are second to none. The were completely understanding, and easy going and provided fantastic customer service. At the time of purchasing my rims i expected to have my Dodge Durango out the shop within a couple of days, however that couple of days transformed into a couple of months. The manager A.J. and his well-talented team were more than understanding and held my rims for 3 months in storage in the store without any questions. Once i returned to install my rims they went on without a hitch or any problems. They have given me a since of pride in driving my vehicle, and I like the service so much that 2 weeks later i returned a put rims on my Wife's car just because of the service i received. I want to start off with I stopped in this store last year to look at some tires and rims... Well long story short everyone I came across was friendly I ended up leaving with some beautiful 20inch rims on my Nissan quest.. (gorgeous) So today after taking my kids to school I heard a noise from the tire I pulled over and yea my luck a flat tire. I have AAA but before calling them I wanted to call rent a wheel to let them know I was gonna be coming in. As I told them the story they came to me instead of me trying to find a way to them. This place is a great place to get your wheels and tires from, not only a helpful staff but also went above and beyond their normal job. Chuck was a great help in making sure I got the best deal and that I understood the paperwork and policies. Fred helped me save money by using my existing tires on my new custom wheels. So now I have awesome custom wheels but saved money by using my existing tires which still had 60% tread life! Nick, was able to help me find out something wrong with my truck mechanically which is not his job but he helped anyway, and referred me to a mechanic that he knows personally. Rob, who is the tech, also helped me determine what may be wrong with my traction control and even stayed late to professionally install my new wheels and tires and on a FRIDAY night! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of this company. I purchased tires only for $500 dollars and had the worst experience ever. I wanted to purchase tires out right and was suckered into this weekly pay scheme. Every week there is a $9.99 fee that they say is a warranty on your tires. The customer service SUCKS!!!! They don' t know how to talk to customers and will call you every week even though your account is paid up to date. Poor business practices and I see now why they beg the customers to go on here and post great ratings. The ratings are based on trapping you into the transaction. Once they have your business they you mean nothing to them. They talk about there partner stores in a negative way in front of customers. It is sad when a manager has anger problems and it is told to customers that he had to take a week off for stress. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! read more

These guys are amazing. I don't just say that to say that. They truly make you feel like part of the family. Very knowledgeable, fun and inviting. Always keeping you informed of install time. What I like most is they don't try to sell you anything, they recommend what is hot and best for your vehicle and you make the final decision. I just had an issue with the tire having a chunk missing and vibration when driving on highway. They ordered some parts to fix the vibration and are inspecting my tire to see if it is safe. If not, they will replace with no questions asked. That is what I call customer service. They made us feel at home and best of all feeling great when we left even knowing my purchase was expensive. THIS LOCATION IS AWESOME!!! I bought my rims and tires from a rent a wheel location in Kissimmee on Main back around Christmas time... I had tire sensor issues for months... And after around 10 trips back to that location I still continued to have my sensor light on... This whole time Eddie and the crew there basically said something was wrong with my car since they can't seem to figure out the issue... My dealership is telling me it's their sensors... So today I decided to drive over an hour to go to this location... AJ and Rafael had it fixed in less than 10 minutes... Turns out the *professionals* at the Kissimmee location had been putting in the wrong damn codes to my tires all along... I left happy and pissed at the same damn time... So... Needless to say... I wish that I could give less than one star. First of all, we have 3 high line vehicles that have rims from here. When AJ was there we never had any issues, but Dan refuses to fix the problem. He insists on putting a bandaid on it instead. Would he allow his wife Or daughter to drive in a car with a bent rim? The whole purpose of us purchasing the equipment protection is for this exact reason... so why would Dan refuse us when we have paid for this service. Jerry and Victor are always AMAZING!!! But DAN just doesn't get it! If I am not getting the services I paid for, looks like my next call is to my credit card company to charge back for services not rendered! First & foremost I have to say that this is the BEST place in Orlando(Eastside to be exact). They have helped me out for almost 2 years(each set of wheels have been the truth on my Ford Fiesta). My husband and I have always dealt with AJ when it came to our tires and wheels. AJ always goes and above and beyond. We have done all our cars and my daughters. Now our youngest started driving and he bought his car and of course time came to get new wheels and let me tell you AJ came through again. Well my experience at this rent a wheel was great I got help from a guy named Oscar which to me is the best seller there. The reason why was because first time I went in they didn't have the type of rim I was looking for but then the next day which was a Monday he called me right up sending me a picture of the rim which I absouluty loved an went an bought it. To me that's considered a good sales men. If you go to this Rent A Wheel look for him great customer service from his part. Now the rest of the guys just suck because of past experiences trying to buy rims. I have to say, throughout the years that I have been going to Rent-A-Wheel, they always give me great customer service and are always willing to help with any issues I may have. Between Victor, Bill and Gee they have always been there for me. I just recently went there this morning to make a payment and I was also waiting on replacement Wheels for the car.
