I came here at the suggestion of work colleagues. The restaurant is located in a tower overlooking some lakes. The tower rotates so that a panoramic view of the city can be seen while dining for an hour. The ambience of the restaurant was great, the service was friendly and there were ample beer and wines to choose from. The menu did not appear to have beef, chicken or pork offerings so I ended up ordering lamb. I don't mind lamb but this lamb was served rare and didn't look great. I would give 4.5 stars but it's not possible. We liked the wines and the wine pairings, the food was good, guaranteed fresh finnish vegetables, fish and meat but the aww-effect was missing. Obviously the scenery is breath taking, service was good, pretty fast and somewhat personal. I would have liked to see a bigger variety of finnish specialities in the 9 course dinner. read more

Spectacular view and great food The restaurant is located on the top of the tower, and it's moving. You can observe Tampere and surrounding lakes from all the best angles. Food is very good. We had a pumpkin soup as a compliment from a chef.For aperitif, I had a special autumn cocktail - vodka, apple, cranberries and something else. I liked the taste! I had an appetizer - grilled/marinated duck with beetroot, which I liked a lot too. Don't remember what exactly I ordered from a dessert menu, but remember enjoying it too :) Service was very good, and everyone spoke English. Worth a visit! read more

Before my first visit, I thought this would be the kind of place where you'd pay for the view and get overpriced food. Boy, was I wrong! Perfect combination of top-notch kitchen and astonishing views of this great city and it's beautiful surroundings.
