The gentleman running the cb store told me I must stop here as the food is amazing. He explained that it is a rotating menu, but most of the items are vegan or vegetarian. I told him that I am wanting to eat less meat so this is great. I showed up to the restaurant and was warmly greeted by all of the staff. I could not decide what I wanted so I got their pick three platter with the toast bite with homemade ricotta, lemon curd, and spring strawberry salad. My grand total was just $11 and they have a notification system that tells you when your food is ready. It took about 20 minutes to get my food, but it was so worth it! The salad was super refreshing and had just enough salad dressing. The lemon curd bite was amazing and had just enough sweetness and a good crunch from the puff pastry. Last, the ricotta toast was so yummy and I enjoyed every bite. Most of the menu was grown on site and if not they use local products as much as possible. The meal was just enough. I did not feel overly stuffed and it was so good. Since they rotate the menu every couple of months and it has been about a month with this menu, I will have to come back in July or August for some new deliciousness!

We had little ones with us so they asked us not to let them hold any food while in the petting area so the animals wouldn't jump on them. There were lots of goats, a few pigs, and an alpaca in the petting area. After checking out the animals we went fishing in the little pond. You need to bring your own poles and bait. We caught so many sunnies in just 45ish minutes. They were hanging out right near the dock, so the kids could just drop the line right in. We had an hour and a half timeframe, and they provided a walkie-talkie to keep in touch, and to let us know when our time was up.

I had the pleasure to return to Celebrity Dairy for the baby goat arrival. As they are not back to…read morethe Open Barn days, they were allowing reservations for small groups again to come learn about the dairy farm; the goats and the inn. We got to bottle feed the babies and mingle with them. We also got to tour the Inn and saw a glimpse of the original log cabin. It was a very educational experience and they had goat cheese; gelato and fudge for sale too! The staff was so welcoming and answered a lot of questions. I want to go stay the night at the cozy inn now. Next year, when the new baby goats are born as then I can spend as much time with them as I want :-) I am looking forward to the monthly dinners returning as well.

They have a LOT of beautiful goats, all ages, all colors and personalities, but they also have chickens, llamas and horses. The goats are very friendly and love to have someone pet them. They are born and raised right there on the farm, so they love people. Although the lunch was very good, I loved spending time with the sweet goats. Lunch was lemonchello chicken, a nice salad, rice pilaf and roasted veggies. We had a lemon tart for dessert. The table was set so nicely and we really enjoyed our meal. We had a great tour of the facility and our guide answered all of our questions with her super knowledge and huge amount of patience! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, thinking places would be open for lunch; many of the bars and restaurants don't open during the weekday until later for dinner time. So definitely make sure to check hours of operation of the individual food/drink places. We were able to grab a drink at one of the bars at lunch and the Jamaican spot on the property. And also visited the Meadery. This is such a great idea and I hope more outdoor food hall type venues start popping up around the country. We need more cool off the beaten path places like The Plant. 9/10 recommend.

We've been coming to Buckwheat for years & the owners have always been friendly. They also carry seasonal items as well as homemade ice cream. They had some squash, shiitake mushrooms, snapdragons & prepicked berries. The berries. They had so many ripe berries that it took about 15 minutes to pick this huge bucket. The berries are huge. These berries are super sweet, juicy and very perishable. They're perfect to eat as it or for strawberry shortcake, jam or pie. Highly recommend!!
