The selection here is more wall hanging, antique kitchen, and knick knacks vs. furniture. The staff is my favorite part. They always greet you when you walk in and have a smile on their face when they are helping you out. The parking lot is a bit clustered since it is always busy but we just park way on the far end. I'm excited to come here in summer to check out the yard area that has some neat items for decorating the outside of your home or garden.

The store was nice and clean inside and the booths were in picture perfect order and uncluttered. They had free coffee (yes! Huge bonus!) and restrooms readily available. So, with no rush or worries, we took our time and looked through the entire store. There were many craft items as well as antiques. Handmade soaps, lotions and candles were available for purchase as well, all local too . We had a really enjoyable time and had so many items to look at and talk about. Most recently, in 2016 when my husband and I decided we were going to build a house the following year and wanted to include numerous salvaged pieces in the Craftsman style house, Julie and J were there to help as we bounced ideas off them. They really helped us to formulate our ideas and concepts into actual additions into our new home. Julie helped me find the perfect ridge beam to use as a mantle. We also got (local) Buckstaff factory flooring which we installed into the tray ceiling in our dining room, which J actually cut down for us at the shop because the bundle wouldn't fit in our jeep! We also found the perfect claw foot tub for our bathroom, a couple vintage doors, hardware...not to mention my favorite piece, the trap door from Buckstaff Company, which is now an art piece, hanging prominently on the wall in our home. They also kept an eye out and helped find the perfect vintage buffet to use as a bar! We have so many pieces around our house that could not have come to fruition without Crescent Moon Antiques & Salvage. Julie and J are always excited to hear what projects and ideas we are pondering. Even if I'm not already brewing an idea, just taking some time to walk through the shop is so inspiring that I come away with project ideas! Julie and J are incredibly passionate about preserving history and tastefully incorporating salvaged materials or pieces into homes and businesses.
