Im Schatten der Bäume am Rathenauplatz schmeckt das kühle Kölsch an heißen Sommertagen besonders gut. Nebenan treffen sich die Boulespieler aus dem Viertel, und Kinder toben sich auf dem angrenzenden Spielplatz aus. Die allgemein ausgelassenen Stimmung steckt an.
