(she had pizza delivered plus had 'snicky snacks' of fresh fruit, Doritos, Goldfish crackers & Hershey Kisses on hand). There was a ton a great equipment (foam block pit, Bounce House, trampolines, etc) for the kids to enjoy - especially the zip line and one largest trampoline, where the kids took turns being strapped in and hoisted way up high (all the way up to the specatating parents in the party room - so cool!). The young employees were really fun, energetic and into their jobs. They were totally on top of giving equipment instructions, safety and keeping lines in order. I was impressed. They also were mindful of the party's timeframe and well organized. My guys are teetering on being "too old" (12 1/2 & pushing 14!) for this great facility but had fun anyway. I'd highly reccommend 'Gynnastics & Cheerleading Academy' for kids from ages 5 - 11. Great and memorable party. (They have summer camp as well).

This may be a "starter gym," but we outgrew it, and instead of supporting that growth, the director made sure we felt unwelcome. She refused to communicate with us as parents, dismissed our concerns with a "this is my decision, that's final" attitude, and then disappeared for the rest of the season--completely avoiding accountability. What's worse, she had the audacity to speak badly about young girls--8- and 9-year-olds!--instead of building them up. That behavior alone is absolutely unacceptable. It's no surprise that our entire team, and then some, left TNT because of her. To make matters worse, one of the stunt coaches told my daughter and others they were "fat and ugly." Who talks to kids like that? Thankfully, Courtney--who is everything a director should be--stepped in and handled the situation with empathy and professionalism. She actually listened. That said, the damage was done. I would never recommend this gym to anyone. Not to friends, not to family. No child deserves to be treated the way ours were.

My girls started at Rockstar this year so we are about 80% done our first season at this point…read more There were a lot of changes made here since the previous season (which we were not registered) as they became affiliated with a national organization, thus changing the name to its current name "Rockstar NJ." From the moment we walked through the door we knew we found our new gym. Friendly staff at the desk. Welcoming team moms in the waiting area and coaches ready to work. All of the coaches are very professional and have been in the business for many years. One coach is the Drexel University coach. One is a coach from a prominent private high school in the area and was a cheerleader for her whole life. One is an Eagles cheerleader. And the list goes on. What I like most about the gym is how much fun my girls are having. They've never worked harder, yet never had so much fun or made as many friends. My one daughter severely broke her arm last season cheering so when we came to Rockstar she was hesitant and nervous to get back into things. The coaches were so supportive. They got her through her fears and now she is back to where she was. I highly recommend Rockstar Cheer to anyone that is looking to get into this sport or anyone who has been in it and is ready to make a change. They have just about every level team and are always looking to create opportunities for their athletes. Come ready to work hard and have so much fun that your kids will never want to leave.
