I just took this class for renewal of my CPR certification last week. Immediately upon contacting Mr. Patel about my interest in the class he responded to my message and was very helpful in providing me with all of the information I was in need of and I was scheduled to complete the class within 2 days of contacting him. I was shocked at how quickly I was able to complete the class, and at how convenient it was to do so. Not only was registering for the class hassle free, but so was the class itself. I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed a CPR class until now. This was the fourth time I have taken a CPR course and it is the first that I enjoyed. Mr. Patel did not waste time on the irrelevant 'facts' but he teaches you what you NEED to know and what you NEED to take with you as you practice in the healthcare field, should you ever need to perform CPR. He provided simple instructions with wonderful rationales, helping to make sense of why we do certain actions in certain situations. Mr. Patel made the CPR class exciting, interesting, fun, and he taught me a good bit of information I did not know prior to attending his class. I never thought I would enjoy renewing my CPR certification, until now, that I have found the right place to go to and do so. I completed this course to support my requirements for my profession. To begin with, Rapid CPR and Vinay are easy to contact and very flexible offering Saturday and Sunday classes. Upon arriving to the class, I immediately felt Vinay's professional knowledge stood out. Instead of wanting to get through the class as quickly as possible, I enjoyed learning something new, even after 24 years in the health care profession. Vinay is professional, enjoyable and organized. Vinay is extremely knowledgeable and his wealth of information and hands on experience shows throughout the class. Vinay wants everyone to leave the class knowing the skills to perform effective and accurate CPR as well as understanding why. I would most definitely recommend Rapid CPR to anyone needing to obtain or renew certification. The instructor, Vinay, is a paramedic and is able to provide real world examples to reinforce the information shown in the required videos. Vinay's teaching style is both fun and informative. It felt as if his goal is not simply to churn out CPR certifications, but to truly teach life saving skills to the participants. Vinay was super easy to communicate with via text. I got his voicemail when I initially called, but Vinay immediately texted me explaining that text was the best way to reach him. He offered for me to come in for a class that day, which I couldn't make, but conveniently he had one I was able to attend the next morning. The location is waaaay out there in West Columbia, and honestly feels kind of sketchy upon initial approach (it's located on the side of a convenience store), but first impressions aside, I actually really enjoyed the class and hope that Vinay will still be offering classes when I need to renew my certification! read more

I have taken multiple classes required for jobs as an RN from the coast of New Hampshire to the coast of California. I went into this class after 9+ hours of work and was hoping I wouldn't fall asleep. I can honestly, and I mean really honestly, I have never really enjoyed a class so much. Usually, courses of this nature are very regimented and bullet-pointed allowing little in the way of customization. This is Vinay's class, and it is so obvious that his years of experience in emergency situations and passion for actually providing safe, meaningful care govern his teachings. I never felt nervous or singled out (even in a 1:1 class), and I can honestly say I have never gotten more out of ACLS. Hands down, in the future, if I had the option of taking the class elsewhere or paying for Vinay's class, I wouldn't think twice about learning from him again. He responded very quickly to my emails (within an hour). He is professional, very knowledgeable, and teaches in a laid back manner that makes learning stress free and fun. I've been a nurse for MANY years and have taken BLS, ACLS, and PALS more times than I wish to disclose in public. I initially always took classes affiliated with the hospital where I worked. A few years ago, I left the hospital setting and had to seek training on my own. I found Vinay and Rapid CPR and have been VERY pleased. His way of presenting the information is actually relevant and easy to remember in real life situations (where you do not have the algorithm in front of you). I learn some new, practical application every time I take a class. If you are a medical professional, skip the hospital training and go with Vinay and get reimbursed if you can. I don't care how experienced you are and how many codes you have participated in, you will learn something. I can honestly say taking this class gave me a lot of insight on how to look at ACLS in a whole new way I have been a nurse for 12 years and I learn something new with Vinay every time I take his class he is truly an amazing instructor who cares about the things that he is teaching to ensure that we not only pass the test but that we understand why we passed the test and how all of these things come together to make sense. once you've taken this course I can assure you, you will never go anywhere else. Vinay Patel is hands down the best CPR certification teacher in this area. This is my 3rd time getting my certification and my first time with him. He has taught me more than any other instructor ever has. I took the BLS certification class for health care providers and it taught me so much about real life situations that you wouldn't receive in other BLS classes. He went as far to explain why certain protocols are the way they are and how and why you can tell certain things such as how you can tell if you are giving the victim adequate compressions. This was a shorter class than the other classes I have taken but I easily learned 10x more information in this class than in the others. Vinay Patel is really great. I just renewed my ACLS for the umpteenth time and was shown so much more than I had seen before. He showed me a whole new way of thinking about ACLS. It makes so much more sense and allows it to flow so much smoother. His bredth of knowledge and integration of tasks is amazing. He is a great instructor. I left with so much more confidence in running codes and how the different tasks fit together. I wanted to spend more time absorbing his knowledge base. He connected so many parts to each other that it all made perfect sense. This is truly the way ACLS should be discovered. I recently completed a CPR class, and overall, it was a very informative and practical experience. The course was well-structured and covered essential life-saving techniques, including high-quality chest compressions, rescue breaths, use of an AED, and how to respond to choking in both adults and infants. Vinay Patel was knowledgeable, clear, and supportive, making sure I felt comfortable practicing the skills. Hands-on practice with mannequins helped reinforce the steps and build confidence. By the end of the session, I felt much more prepared to respond in a cardiac emergency. The instructor Vinay Patel is energetic, knowledgable and the class learning goes swiftly filled with much understanding and interaction from participants and instructor. Family and friends in the past always told me about their CPR classes they had to take, and they always described their experience as a very boring, lengthy 3 hours (not with Vinny). Today was my first time taking a CPR class and I am so glad I attended Vinay's class. He is a great, thorough, hilarious, to the point, and easy instructor. He really made the time pass quickly by making the class a fun time; the class lasted about an hour and a half. The best part was when he knew exactly which episode from "The Office" I was thinking of the whole class, then he played a clip of the episode at the end of the class ! Vinay Patel at Rapid CPR is awesome. This is the second time I took a BLS CPR class, this time for my renewal. He breaks it down and teaches you the fundamentals, why certain things are done & the rationale. 2 years ago he accommodated my last minute request to obtain my first BLS. He works with his students to assist them in anyway. He works as a paramedic so he gives first hand real world techniques as well. I do not think that you will find anyone more professional or willing to help. I needed PALS, and was the only student in the class. Thank you for helping me to get my PALS! This is the best class to go to for CPR. I've been to a class at the Red Cross that was led by a quasi-drill instructor and to one that was held by a woman that sat at a desk and had me and my fellow nursing student pay her our money without once getting up out of her seat to teach us anything. (When our nursing school found out about what she was doing she was arrested.) So Vinnie was such a breath of fresh air when I attended my first class. He puts you at ease immediately. Awesome teacher and class. This is maybe the 7th or 8th time I've taken BLS and it was by far and away the best one. Vinay was knowledgable and funny and knew how to keep us engaged. He not only told us what we were to do, but the why so that we understood it. I do believe that will help me retain the information and be able to apply it more effectively in the event I need to perform CPR. Also, the technology was so cool in that we could see on a screen if we were going deep enough and allowing enough recoil on the compressions and if our rate was w/in the target zone. I took my PALS certification course today, and Vinay was absolutely incredible. His lengthy experience as an EMT gives healthcare workers like myself a very realistic understanding of how to treat patients. This course was unlike any other certification course I have taken. He explains the purpose behind every step you have to take/perform, and makes sure you understand it well before proceeding to something new. I LOVE his teaching style. As an ICU nurse, I feel so much more confident after taking this class. You can tell Vinay loves what he does, and loves to teach. This was the best medical certification class I have ever taken! Vinay was able to make all the information easy to learn and put it in real life situations so that you really understand and can use it easily in you job or in urgent stressful situations ie a code. I have never been taught any class in basic or advanced life support that didn't just teach me from the book without real life scenarios It all just clicked into place and Vinay was so supportive the whole time.
