I've come for anxiety management, lower back pain, muscle tightness and always have left feeling relaxed, in less pain and knew the therapy would continue to improve my overall well being. I came across their IG posting. On Tuesday's they offer a 50% discount on facials! I knew this place, loved all my previous visits, a total SCORE! Not so much... As always my greeting was very welcoming and I was shown to my room. They offer two facials, I wasn't sure which one was a better option for me and that's where it went . I tried talking to her about the different facials but she wasn't interested in explaining the difference or giving her recommendation. The only thing she tried to push was getting both of the facials they offer. Next, there was no calming or relaxing experience. My head was so forward on the pillows it was on my chest. Yes, I could've said something, but my experience trying to ask her advice on which facial I should get, left little to no desire to attempt. I was so annoyed and disappointed that this was the same place that I love for acupuncture that I contemplated getting up and leaving MULTIPLE times. I'm wrote this review with a heavy heart because this has not been my normal experience. I'm sorry, I cannot recommend this place for a facial, even with the 50% discount on Tuesday.

White Lotus was one of the places that came up that had great reviews. I even spoke to another provider in the area who recommended Carla from White Lotus as a great option for support. Carla did not disappoint. She was immediately accommodating, seeing me on a Sunday because of the pain I was in. From my first appointment, I saw immediate results and felt relief. I went into her office due to some sternum pain as well as mid-back pain...when in office, she was able to accurately diagnose the problem based off trigger points and some contextual questions. Dr. Maris set out a three-week plan for adjustments and minor physical therapy to get me healthy. By the time I left her office after my final visit/adjustment, all chest/back pain had disappeared! Mostly minor pains that come with the territory but keeping fresh and healthy has never been easier. The thing I prefer the most is that Dr. Mingoia doesn't claim to be able to cure cancer or mental illness, I've been to places like that before and walked right out when I heard it. He offers chiropractic medicine as a way of simply reliving pain. Simple and Direct. They also offer supplemental therapies at this office. They have a wonderful masseuse that offers full and half hour massages that can work your upper and lower body or pinpoint origin of your muscle pains. They have recently added Acupuncture with Kitak Ryu. He offers traditional acupuncture and related therapies. As of this post I've had 3 sessions with him and he is very thorough. Covering important aspects that in my opinion are necessary of a good acupuncturist he explains, Qi, stagnation of energy and or circulation, among other things.
