Ms R. seemed like she knew her stuff well enough, but she's not for everyone. If you're in a really contentious case and your spouse really doesn't like you or vice versa, then she may be your gal. But if you want to just end the divorce as economically as possible while getting a fair shake, and animosity isn't driving your case, then I'd look elsewhere. My ex and I had our issues, of course, but Rapasadi was the snappiest and most argumentative person in the room, which I personally found unprofessional, and more fitting for a Jerry Springer set. I don't know who she was trying to impress, but it wasn't helping my ex or our case. If she wanted to be a big city lawyer, she should have gone to the big city. Though, she did seem to know the judge well, and I believe her family has big roots and connections in the area, so that never hurts in a rural county like this one, if you know what I mean. read more

I retained Kathleen Rapasadi for my divorce and I believe she is the best divorce attorney in CNY. Kathleen is up to date on all the new divorce laws and fought very hard to get me a fair deal with my ex without a trial. She even refused to allow me to waive his retirement when I was tempted to just to have it over and done with! I'm very thankful to her for that security in my future that I would have lost.
