They are totally incompetent. I spent days calling them and trying to just get a call back. Nothing. Don't waste your time. Go elsewhere.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I've been in the real estate development business for over 25 years. I've worked…read morewith hundreds of contractors (big and small) for all sorts of projects (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc.). Mountain House Mechanical has been by far, without a doubt, the smoothest and most professional vendor I've ever hired. This was no small project. Mitsubishi mini-split system with two outdoor units and 6 indoor units. They took their time, the install was impeccable. Communication was superb. The day I signed the contract, they were onsite within 24 hours to begin work. They completed the project in the timeframe they quoted. Could not be more pleased with the work.

I first encountered Tyler's exceptional service when he arrived to repair my AC on the 4th of July…read more I was prepared to wait given the holiday, but his commitment to resolving the issue immediately was impressive. After a thorough inspection, he provided a temporary recharge that kept the system running perfectly for nearly a year. When the unit recently began acting up again, Tyler honored the warranty and returned to troubleshoot. When the initial fix didn't hold, he returned a third time--at no additional charge--to perform a final diagnostic. He concluded that a replacement was necessary and provided a very fair, transparent quote. Having worked for a contractor in Marin for years, I have high standards for tradespeople; Tyler & Mikayla's integrity, professionalism, and dedication to customer service are unmatched. He is now my sole recommendation for HVAC work.

He stopped by yesterday…read more I told him the history of my "very unusual" kerosene fueled water heater and the central heating system that it is hooked up to. I described my frustration in dealing with "other" local plumbing companies. I soon learned that my Bock water heater is of excellent quality. Michael believed that it could last for additional decades with appropriate attention. While he acknowledged that he was not qualified to work on HVAC equipment, Michael pointed out what was obvious to him, my Bock water heater was apparently in good working condition and there was no need to replace it. He came to this conclusion after I asked him what he would do if he were me. Our interaction was significantly noteworthy for several reasons: #1. I learned that my water heater could serve me for possibly three times as long as I had previously been told. I had been led to believe that a water heater such as mine had a lifespan of approximately 15 years. #2. A potential bill for work that could have been $4,000 or more evaporated. #3. I have established a healthy "client/provider" relationship with a plumber I can talk to. #4. Michael appears to possess an open mind as well as an ability to adapt to his clients. It is comforting to learn that my heating system is functioning properly. Charlie
