Raniel did a fantastic job helping us sell our home in CdA. Always available to answer questions and put great effort out to help give the home the extra exposure it needed for a quick sale. Thanks to his professionalism, we sold it for over the appraised value and in only 90 days! You will not regret partnering with him to buy or sell your next home. Highly recommend! read more

Simply the best! If you're looking for a place to call home in CDA you can't do better than Raniel Diaz. He has exceptional knowledge of the area and steered us in the right direction every step of the way. Other realtors I've worked with will sell you anything that pops up on Redfin for the right price, but Raniel is more discerning than that. He listens and learns about each of his clients needs and will be the first to tell you if he thinks a property you've selected won't be a good fit. We really appreciated his attention to detail. If we're ever in the market for another home in CDA he will be the first person we call! Highly recommended read more

I would give Raniel Diaz 10 stars if I could!! Believe everything you read on these reviews, he is the BEST of the BEST. I reached out to him (based on these reviews) when I was in a challenging position selling my Post Falls home. He responded to me immediately, and continued to be extremely responsive for the next 3+ months, as he went above and beyond to help me sell my home. If you are selling or buying - call him today!! I'm so glad I did! read more

Without hesitation and with great enthusiasm, I strongly recommend that you choose Raniel Diaz and his team (shout out to Holly Larson!) for you next home sale or purchase. From the first time we checked out their webpage, we were impressed by Our Town's focus on helping families find a great place to call home. On our first tour of Coeur d'Alene, Raniel was approachable, friendly, and so welcoming that he let us use his car seat and bring our little kiddo along. He listened and helped us realize what we wanted in a home (at the time)-all the while helping us feel at ease thanks to his easy-going and funny/charming personality. We've always been turned off by the hustlers who would rather push volume at the expense of helping people find the right fit. With Our Town, you will find personalized home buying assistance if you're on the hunt. Raniel even hung out with us while be picked finishings for our place. Raniel isn't just a realtor. He's a member of the Coeur d'Alene community, a parent, and a good friend. He also happens to be a businessman with ethics who brings some authentic casual west coast style to his business. I was once very impressed when I randomly stumbled into him at a local restaurant and he invited me to join his family for a meal. That's just the kind of guy he is; and that personable culture permeates his team. A couple years after our family got into a great house, we asked Raniel to help us sell that same home. He and Holly Larson were quite frankly badass. They helped us know what to expect, kept the communication timely (and funny), and-when the offers came in-helped us get the best price and the most reliable offer. At a time when there was little inventory in comps to our property, they were able to make such an accurate speculation that we nailed the real market value and the final purchase price to within $5,000. We also had an accepted offer (of the 4 offers received) signed in 1 business day. Thanks to their expertise, I didn't go with the offer that my novice brain thought was most attractive; and in the end a reliable buyer and multiple escalation clauses got us almost 6% over list price. If you're looking for a group of realtors with heart and soul-who will help you navigate the crazy market and land in a home and neighborhood where you'll be happy-look no further. Forget Keller-Williams, Windermere, and the other suits who will talk right through you. Keep it real with Our Town. They're the best. Thanks Raniel and Holly!!! read more

Raniel helped us buy our DREAM HOME! We moved to Idaho from NY, and we had no idea what to expect. I had found Raniel by coincidence online, and the first time we talked, I knew he was going to be fantastic to work with. He knew everything about everywhere we looked and walked us through all the places he thought would be great fits for us. We found our dream home the day the owners put it on the market, and Raniel got us in immediately! We made an offer right there and then! We are so happy in our new home, and beyond Raniel being an excellent realtor, we have a friend for life! If we ever sell, which I don't think we ever will, we will most certainly ask Raniel to help us! read more

Raniel is the BEST! Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Selling a home is exciting, but can become overwhelming, quick! Raniel is there with you, every step of the way. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood each step, and kept our minds at ease. He makes you feel like a member of his family! We really feel lucky to have found, Raniel and if I ever need any real estate needs, he will be the one I call! Thanks for everything, Raniel! read more

We picked Raniel Diaz to be our realtor at "Our Town CDA" out of the blue based on his high Yelp reviews. We were wanting to get a property for a 1031 exchange, meaning we had to find a property and buy a replacement house in 45 days after closing escrow on a rental property. We feel that God led us to Raniel. If I could give him 500,000 stars I would. 5 stars just isn't enough praise for this hardworking, kind, and professional man. All throughout the process of looking for a house with a lot of criteria's to overcome he diligently stuck by us and very patiently left no stone unturned to find the perfect house and the perfect match for us and our needs. He never showed us any houses out of our price range or contrary to what our hopes were. He would carefully inspect the house with us looking for anything that might be a potential problem and point these concerns out to us. He would even unravel some of our thoughts and say "lets keep looking, this house just doesn't seem to suit your needs" and he was so right on everything! Raniel never made us feel like we were bothering him or that anything we asked was too much trouble. He answered our texts and calls promptly and was always organized and on target. Raniel kept us informed all along the way without us having to pull information out of him. We are so grateful to Raniel for going above and beyond in finding and making our dream home in Hayden Idaho a reality. We came to Raniel as complete strangers and consider him a real true friend. We strongly advise anyone to go to no one else but Raniel to be by your side throughout the purchase of your new home from start to finish. read more

I found Raniel on yelp being a big helper myself. He had all positive reviews for him and his company. I decided to reach out via text which he responded right away. We were on a fast track to find a new home here in the local area for me and my young family. The transition was smooth from his team to the lenders and so forth. I would highly recommend Raniel and his operation here in the Coeur d'Alene and surrounding area. Thanks again for the wonderful first time home buying experience! read more

So before my girlfriend and I headed north to Idaho, we searched Yelp and other websites for a qualified and knowledgeable agent. We found him! Raniel Diaz is a very down to earth, well informed, local realtor who really knows the area, has lots of connections to help out with any type of purchase and will honestly go the extra mile for his clients. We ended up buying in CDA and he helped from start to finish and still keeps in touch to verify everything is moving forward and that we still enjoy our place. He has a great personality, funny and extremely helpful. If you are interested in any type of property in CDA, dont hesitate to contact Raniel, you will be glad you did! This reference is long overdue but based on the quality of the service we received which was exceptional, I wanted to post this for others seeking true professional representation in buying or selling a property. I have bought and purchased several homes ranging in value from $150,000 to $1.6 million with frustrating realtors. Never ever have I received the professional real estate expertise comparable to what we received from Raniel and Steve at Our Town CDA . These two gentlemen utilize corporate expertise, technology, analytics, psychology, street smarts, teamwork, a system and major real estate knowledge to deliver results. We owned a beautiful mountain home overlooking Hayden Lake. It was rented for several years. After assessing the property they recommended a professional home inspection that detailed all shortcoming and repairs required. We set a budget and spent a few weeks correcting everything. Smart move since these items might have derailed the purchase at the end of the sale. They are terrific business partners -always giving you honest input yet they willingly integrated my feedback and critique. Details speed and efficiency were a constant. I always knew the status of potential buyers --and the marketing was exceptional. In the end we sold a great house at a great price. I wish they could sell my condo in Chicago I would be honored to work with them again. My recommendation is based on 30 years as an executive in three major industries. If you are smart you will contact and retain this team. They are winners. Sincerely Brett K Avner Ph.D. read more

Raniel Diaz saw our vision, and made it a reality. Our situation was complicated; we live out of state, and wanted to buy property in the Idaho panhandle to build and retire on in 20 years. As my wife and I plan for our future, we were concerned our situation wouldn't seem enticing to a realtor. As we corresponded from out of state, Raniel stayed in regular contact with updates and excitement. Raniel always went above and beyond to make sure every detail we described to him was accounted for. Raniel would send photos and video from the properties he would visit on our behalf. It truly felt like we had his undivided efforts in making this distant dream a contemporary reality. Buying raw land in Coeur d'Alene had a lot of variables that my wife and I were unfamiliar with, i.e. access to power, was there a working well on the land, etc. Raniel made clear that these things were not amenities, they were necessities. Raniel consulted subject matter experts in these fields, and only came to us with properties that had these services in place. Filtering down to us only the properties that set us up for success was a priority to Raniel. He explained we would need to be patient, but he would absolutely find us a property that met our aesthetic desires, and was tenable as a future residence. Raniel had our best interests at his forefront, even when my wife and I may not have. Raniel is the quintessential team quarterback. We found a property that met all our requirements, met Raniel's approval for us to be successful on that land, and under his supervision everything moved along smoothly. Until it didn't. In the eleventh hour, there was a catastrophic issue that arose which had the potential to kill the deal. It was an issue that was unforeseeable, and blindsided everyone involved. Rather than make excuses and justifications, Raniel brought everyone together and came up with a plan for success. It truly felt like he was as invested in this purchase and much as my wife and I were. It had to be this way because my wife and I were out of state. With a negligible change in the timeline, Raniel found a path to success that few, if any, could have. We unreservedly recommend Raniel to represent anyone looking for a realtor in Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding areas. So much so, I have already given out his contact information to both personal friends and family who have a similar vision as my wife and I. #movetocda #ourtowncda read more

Anyone who knows me knows that I rarely give 5 stars for anything. Raniel is the best in the area. He is patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly professional. He and his team prepared our home for listing, have a professional photographer, and give immediate updates for showing requests. Our home had 3 offers in just 27 hours! It REALLY matters who you list with. If we need an agent for any reason in the future it will be Raniel! We highly recommend, and have already referred 4 friends and family his way. We are now enjoying our dream home and couldn't be happier. read more

I did my homework and found Raniel highly rated on Yelp. Raniel was out of town and so he referred me to his associate, Bradey Murphee. Bradey gave me a great real estate intro to CDA. I'm visiting from SoCal and evaluating the area for retirement and wanted to get a feel for what and where I could buy. Bradey was patient with me being all over the map, both geographically and in terms of type of property. What a pleasure it was  getting the inside scoop from someone who really knows the area! Everyone use Bradey and Raniel! read more

I selected Raniel Diaz to help us find a home in the Coeur d' Alene area based upon his wonderful reviews, which all turned out to be true. He embodies everything that I believe we all look for in a real estate agent, and more. Let me substantiate this claim with my own story. I had been looking for a Northern Idaho home from afar for some time when I finally got serious and arranged a visit to Coeur d' Alene. After a thorough internet search, I settled on Raniel because of the exceptional reviews. I sent him an email, and within minutes he replied. We communicated several more times over the month before my visit. His replies were always immediate and responsive to my questions. I came out during the summer. We met at his office and spoke for a good hour, but not about real estate, even though I had given him a number of listings I wanted to see. I sensed that he wanted to learn more about our family and why we were looking for property. Afterward, we spent the entire day looking at my chosen listings and others. It turns out that the homes I had chosen did not really match our family plans, mostly due to location. Raniel sensed that, and over the following couple of days he helped me to discover exactly what I had really been looking for. I was already entertaining the idea of placing offers... and then he did the most amazing thing... he encouraged me to wait. Knowing current market conditions, he forfeited an immediate sale to help his client save. And that's exactly what happened. A couple of months later we placed an offer and eventually closed on our dream house. Raniel's diligence did not stop there. Being out-of-state buyers, Raniel did a thorough walk-through with the home inspector and then followed up with the builder to ensure that all the little details of the inspector's report were addressed. Several more times, Raniel has been to our new home to tend to little things and he has kept us updated with many photos. In short, if you are looking for a real estate agent who is extremely responsive, patient, knowledgable of the CDA area, detail oriented, and just an all around good and decent person, then Raniel Diaz is the one. read more

I can't say enough about Raniel and the incredible job he did selling our house and helping us buy a house. We had been trying to sell our house for 3 years and didn't have any luck. Raniel came in and worked his magic and got our asking price. On the other side, we needed a house that we could work for our business. Raniel went above and beyond to find the right property for us. The full process took over 2 months to complete for various reasons. Raniel kept on top of it through the whole process and kept us informed and made sure the sale and purchase went through. I highly recommend Raniel for your real estate needs. He will not disappoint you. read more

We actually sold a house and bought a new one in Post Falls with Raniel. Very nice guy and really worked hard to find us the perfect home. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is house hunting in the area. He is a really skilled photographer as well so when we sold our first home he took killer pics of it that I really think helped it sell fast. I was happy with how everything turned out. Helped us research the market and get a great price on both deals. Has great connections in Spokane area too when we were thinking of looking across state lines. read more

Fully deserving of his #1 rank on Yelp... happy to help him keep it that way. Raniel assisted us in the recent purchase of our home in Coeur d'Alene, and is now in the process of helping our mother-in-law sell her property. He finds the perfect balance between professionalism and authenticity. I may have rolled my eyes when I first encountered his slogan: "realtor for today, friend for life," but since he took the time to win over my 90 year old grandma, I concede that his sentiment is genuine, not just a soppy sales tactic. Privileged to call him a friend. read more

Responsive, knowledgeable, tech-savvy, kind and a great listener. Raniel responded promptly to all our queries when we were looking for our forever home. He knows the CDA area - the neighborhoods, the builders, the traffic! He monitored listings and kept us up to date on all listings we were interested in. He handled all our documents securely and efficiently on our phones and computers. Raniel really listened to us and asked us clarifying questions to understand what factors in home-buying were important to us. We are delighted with our new home! He will do the same for you!! read more

I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the dynamic duo of Raniel and Steve - who recently helped me through a tricky property sale. I initially sought them out based on their high reviews, and WOW did that turn out to be a good decision. Raniel was very responsive and helpful from the get-go, and even more impressive was the consistency, attention to detail, and above-and-beyond effort I experienced - throughout the ENTIRE process - from both Raniel and Steve. Calls and texts returned quickly, smart and thoughtful advice on how to prepare the property, compassion and patience when I needed it. These two are smart, energetic, and most importantly - grounded in a "do-the-right-thing" ethos that elevates every interaction; a rare quality these days. Oh, and the kicker - I live out of state. These two managed a complex, months-long process - with precision and focus - from afar. I feel fortunate to have connected with Raniel and Steve, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Raniel was a joy to work with. We were referred to him by a friend and could not have been happier with our experience. My wife and I are first time home buyers and made it clear to Raniel that we would need some hand holding from him. He was happy to do so and led us down a great path. We kept asking to look at houses we found and found that we were always walking away disappointed. The first house he found to show us was the one we ended up buying. It is a perfect fit and exactly what we were looking for in our price range. He is always available, whether you want to call, text or email and his responses are immediate. He looked into everything we asked him to and even went above and beyond. Per our request, the sellers patched and painted over all holes in the walls. The paint color was off upstairs and my wife and I were thinking we were going to have to repaint the whole area. The next day, Raniel tells us exactly what paint color it is. He contacted the builder from 8 years previous and found out what color it was. Things like this show that he is invested and really cares about his clients. I would highly recommend! read more
