We went there last night for the first time after reading great review on google. Upon arriving we noticed it was busy at 9pm so we were feeling confident that we will have a great meal. But, we were TERRIBLY WRONG! As soon as we walk-in the manager was standing by the reception so we followed him to our table. I noticed they were serving buffet so I said we will go with buffet as I was very hungry. He said no it not for regular customer it's for the group or party 50 of ppl sitting there. I found it very weird but we ordered our food anyways. While waiting for our food after 5-7 mins manager brought as papad (Traditional indian cracker), they tasted and felt at least few days old. we asked the manger who was serving our table that can you change that please they are not good, instead of apologizing his answer was it happens with papad sometimes as we don't make they fresh we make them in the morning. I was so surprised bc usually restaurants makes right away. Moving on, one of the server came about 7-10 mins later informing us that the food we ordered is not available so we have to order something different which we did. At this point, we are already in the restaurant for about 25-30 mins. A group of 6 ppl walks in sat next to us and when server went to take their order they asked can we go with buffet "server is like sure"! We felt so confused, humiliated and disrespected. But, to make sure we heard it right we called same server who was taking order of that group who just walked in and ask "can anyone take a buffet" he replied like "yes sure". we asked server to call the manager who wasn't standing too far from us, when he went to the manager and told him we wanted to talk to him and what we told him. Manager literally refused to come to talk to us first but then he saw us standing and waiting to for him he eventually came. First thing came out of his mouth was "there was a communication gap" not an apology LOL really!! He had no answer to any of our questions and concerns. I would have been totally fine if server had done that but for a manger to treat customer like that it's ABSOLUTELY not acceptable. But, really we couldn't do anything expect for leaving after wasting 45 mins without an apology because there was no one else we could have talked too. We will never go there again. I WOULD NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely, TERRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL customer service. read more
