We didn't know any other repairmen, so we called him and it took Robert two weeks to return our phone calls and come to the house to diagnose the problem. Then, he said he would order the part that was needed, and he would call when it was ready. Two more weeks went by, and still no phone call. He wouldn't respond to our messages. We finally got through to him, and learned that he didn't order the part! It will be another two weeks! We are now looking for a new repairman.

He was friendly and professional, didn't try to upsell anything. I opted to fix, but Austin didn't have the correct size of compressor. He made a call to a co- worker, Isaac, who had the correct and offered to drop it off. Thank you Isaac! Once we had the part, Austin installed and patiently waited sitting on the kitchen floor for it to be filled with coolant (I think that's what it was). I realize this was lost revenue for Lamar's Appliance Repair, but I appreciate their honesty diagnosing the problem and being truthful that we were better off getting a new fridge instead of repairing it. Replacing the broken piece would have cost nearly as much as a new refrigerator, but that was also money they would not earn from us. I really appreciate that they looked up any possible warranty angle on the compressor as well. Like I said above, if you need an appliance service / repaired, give Lamar's Appliance Repair a try!
