My insurance is Medicare and I have supplemental insurance which will pick up the 20% Medicare does not pay. In the beginning of April Ocean Home Health charged my credit card for charges occurring in March which my supplemental insurance would cover. My failure was not calling Ocean at the beginning of the year informing them my supplemental insurance was changed effective January 1 although this same scenario has occurred in prior years and this was never a problem previously. I have been on the phone with Ocean Home Health many times during the month of April trying to get them to reverse the charges. The agents I spoke with agree I should receive credit but they can't make the change. I have EOBs from Medicare and my supplemental showing that all amounts charged to me have been paid. I constantly ask for a manager but always told no one was available. If you use Ocean Home Health, make sure you keep your records up-to-date. Correcting the problem with them is not possible.

I worked with someone who had to wear them and she told me how hard they were to get on/off. I reluctantly agreed and was assured insurance would cover the cost. Two months later I got a bill from the medical supply store. When I called I was on hold for fifteen minutes and when she got back on she forgot why I was calling. When I questioned why I received a bill she was extremely rude and told me that I didn't remember my conversation from two months ago. I called my insurance company and found out that I should never have been billed.
