Excellent work! Would use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended them to friends already!…read moreWe had Lakes Region Construction & Remodeling put in new windows and fix our front stairs in September. Every day Peter would send me an email of the work he completed with pictures, which we appreciated as it is our second home and we were not there. Knowing what was getting done each day put us at ease. When I saw the work in person I was blown away! The house looks so much better! Peter was easy to work with! The contracting and payment schedule was simple and his prices reasonable. Overall, highly recommend!

Peter was able to diagnose repairs efficiently and thoroughly (while also accommodating our short-term time horizon). He was also very patient with our young kids who were at home during part of his work. Finally, Peter's protocol when taking photos and maintaining a correspondence allowed for comprehensive correspondence despite the fact that we couldn't be at home during much of the project. My entire family was impressed by his friendliness, thoroughness, and professionalism. Thank you!

I had Jesse and crew at my house for 2 separate projects and I couldn't be happier…read more The first project was a small deck. Jesse set proper expectations about when he could complete the work (he's busy!) and provided an estimate. We stayed in contact regularly until he was able to start the project. I was very happy with the finished product and appreciated how they always cleaned up the site at the end of the day. The final bill was exactly what he quoted me. Since my first experience with Jesse was so positive, he was the first person I called when a tree fell on my roof during our last windstorm. Jesse came right over, assessed the situation and quickly determined that the limb went through the roof. With rain in the forecast, Jesse immediately sent a lift truck to my house (I have a 40 ft roof) and sent a crew to repair the roof that day. I was so impressed with the speed and urgency in which he and his crew worked to fix the problem. Again, his estimate was accurate and there were no surprises. Jesse is always a pleasure to work with. He and his team are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again for future projects.

The floor job was pretty complex. The previous owners had removed a wall, thrown down some plywood and covered it in carpet. The floor on either side of the plywood was covered in two slightly different ypes of wood and was splattered in paint. Now it looks great! The price was as quoted, and there was communication everyday. As far as COVID protocols, Craig did as I asked while in my home. Will definitely use Wilcox Carpentry again.

Prime Design completed an extensive remodel of our home, and what made this project especially…read moreunique was that much of the planning took place while we were living in one state, and the contractor was located in another. Under those circumstances, clear and consistent communication was absolutely critical. Several aspects of our experience stood out. First and foremost, the quality of the work was exceptional. The finished product is beautiful, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire house. Second, during the planning phase, Prime Design provided a comprehensive list of decisions we needed to make--from flooring and countertops to every light fixture and faucet. This created a clear roadmap for the project, helped us select items that complemented one another, and documented every choice along the way. As a result, there were no surprises when the project was completed. Finally, because we were still living out of state during much of the construction, regular communication was essential. We received frequent progress updates and photos, which allowed us to monitor the work, confirm that everything met our expectations, and feel confident that the project was moving in the right direction. We are extremely happy with both the process and the finished result. We recommend them to anyone considering a remodeling project.
