Unfortunately Random Hero Locksmith is why people don't pay till the job is done. Do not pay him a penny till the job is done exactly the way you want it. I hired him to take the broken key out of my garage door or replace the lock. Unfortunately neither was done and I paid for nothing. He said he would come back and never has. I have called him twice and texted him twice. No response. Shoot send me the parts and I'll do it myself and take the review down. I'm also happy to change the review if he comes back but unfortunately there are still people out there taking advantage of people. I figured with COVID people are looking for work and was willing to pay what it took to fix the door. Next time I hire someone on home advisor I will be checking here to see if they really are they type of person they claim to be. I'd give a zero but can't. He did show up in 15 minutes but left without getting the door unlocked. Said he was leaving to get a drill and would be back in 10 minutes. Never heard from him again. Tried to call over and over but he turned his phone off. Very unprofessional and didn't know what he doing. Don't ever call him if you need immediate help. Please see the tools this fool used to open the door with (I hope you don't need or expect these cards back) and also what he did to our door. Worst locksmith I've ever dealt with. We hired him to fix three door locks. He fixed one the first time. We had to jump his car when it died in our driveway, no big deal. I paid him on Venmo. He came back weeks later, still last two doors didn't work. I paid him again on Venmo to get the remaining parts. He told me he no longer has Venmo and to use cash app. I did and he said he would return my money on Venmo. He did not. I have tried to contact him multiple times through texts and calls to see when he will come finish the job. No response. I am out money and both doors still do not work. It is very unfortunate because I would have recommended him in the beginning. Do not give him any money until he finishes the job. If he even responds to you. You ghost people you don't want to date, not customers. read more

Do not pay him penny till the job is done. He seems responsive and gets "job done" after delay and postponing job for days from arranged date and after all kind of excuses with his family emergency, car breaking down etc, but then he charges extra because he made the hole bigger. He will charge you $200 for $60 lock. He will not finish the job if you pay him when he says "he is done with job". Ask your tenants if they are happy before paying him a penny. I asked for keyless entry and he left the doorknob with key and did not replace it and he only replaced the deadbolt. He knew exactly what we agreed on and still decided not to change the doorknob. Promised to come back and change and never did. Then he started ignoring my phone calls. Complete liar and many excuses, will never hire again and not recommend this company. His name is Greg. Disaster! Called Greg Zinni to replace the lock on my door (commercial building). He came right away, however, after he disassembled the entire locking mechanism and played around with it for an hour, he left without saying a word. Then, a while later he texted that he had gone back to the shop to get a part. Five hours later, no Greg, door pulled apart and wouldn't even close. Didn't answer texts or phone calls. Mailbox full. 4pm on a Friday afternoon and I can't lock my building nor can I even close the door! Massive fail! Evidently the job was over his head so he decided to disappear rather than tell me he couldn't help. Not the way to run a business. read more
