Other tournaments have discounted rates for young children and also if you buy a ticket for both days. This place did not have any discounted rates. Also cash only accepted. There are ATMs at the entrance that had a line of people trying to get cash for the admission fee when we arrived. It's a nice facility, modern and looks fairly new. Good lighting and there's a little bit of acoustic dampening. Not much tho, but it helped. Lots of restrooms and they were kept clean. Concession stands were slow and the food was mediocre and expensive. But you're sort of trapped to eat there unless you sneak in your own food. Coolers are not allowed. Seats are the fold down stadium type seats. Hard plastic so bring your own cushions. Bringing your own folding chairs is not allowed. Parking garage was huge and across the street. Normal rate is $5 but for this tournament, we didn't pay anything. Overall it's a nice facility but I hope we don't have to go there for another tournament anytime soon.

I had a great summer at Friendly Acres Pool. The pool was always clean and for the most part the…read morewater was always warm. It is a shallow pool no deeper than 4' without a diving board. There is a kiddie pool. During the week, the pool area is quite empty. It can get really busy over the weekends if the weather is wonderful. The tennis courts have just been refurbished. You must be a member at Pinetop Neighborhood Resort to utilize this facility. I met many new friends here. There is enough parking in the lot. I'll be back next year.

There are 2 seating benches in the pool - really good feature to stay cool while still reading your book. The only downside is the pool isn't that big. You can't really use it for swimming. And if there are a lot of kids in the pool, its hard to avoid getting splashed. There's ample seating, plenty of tables and umbrellas throughout the dry deck. The dry deck and the bathrooms are always clean!
