She was incredibly thorough and clearly very knowledgeable. Not only did she use effective massage techniques, but she also incorporated stretching and other therapeutic modalities that really targeted my problem areas. From the moment we started, she focused on my concerns with professionalism and genuine care. I felt noticeably better right away--Ling truly went above and beyond. In the past, I've enjoyed massages, but typically only went if someone gave me a gift certificate. After this session, I realized the true therapeutic benefits of massage. As for the provider,…read morewell...I think it is a shame that a client has to be subjected to a provider who does not listen, is dismissive - as if their opinion is the only one that matters - and displays a seemingly grandiose sense of self. It seems as though they may have forgotten that they are being paid to provide a service and in doing so should demonstrate a level of professionalism. Regarding the therapy area, it felt congested. I have been in other places that provided more space for movement. As I passed clients who were exercising on the floor so close to the pathway, as well as those adjacent in chairs that line the wall of the small hallway receiving therapies, and having to pass through occupied rooms because the rest of the hallway is closed off, allowing for more equipment to be placed on either side of the door was unsettling. It seemed as though it was done so that they could maximize the number of clients they see in a given day. It felt more like a factory than a therapy center. It was just not the right place for me.
