I'm so bummed. I was excited to try this food! We ordered the salsa verde chicken enchiladas, and caldo de res. The first bite of enchilada had GREAT flavor. The rest? Not so much. Ok at best. Lettuce is set off to the side, rice and beans in their respective spots. I prefer my enchilada toppings stacked, not no big deal. I got all rice, which was bland. No sort of flavor at all. I added lime and salsa, and it didn't help much. The caldo...aghhh...the caldo is literally boiled veggie water. No seasoning, no flavor. It included way overcooked longwise sliced zucchini and carrots which is interesting. There's also a piece of corn on the cob, chayote squash, and 2 pieces of beef. It comes with onion, cilantro, lime, and tortillas of your choice on the side. No flavor all around. Great service though! read more

Went here yesterday. Was craving Mexican food and haven't been able to find a good taco shop in the area near when I've recently moved. Hadn't been here in well over 20 years, since my bestie and I were very young and would go here for a good bean and cheese burro. It was weird walking in after such a long hiatus. I everything looked just as I remembered, nothing fancy, but the dining area here is definitely a step up from other taco shops. Amole seating and tables to enjoy dining in if you aren't in the mood for take away. There were two men working, and they both were super courteous and patient. I ordered 5 rolled tacos and a Cali burro, hold the pico. While the food was being prepared, I helped myself to several salsas from the salsa bar. I love that napkins and utensils were included in my bag. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Can't beat good customer service AND good food! Looking forward to returning soon! read more

I work close by and have come here several times for dinner takeout while working late at the office. I mostly stick to their burritos--Have had many and find all of them good so far. San Diego is my favorite. Tried some tacos tonight for the first time--enjoyed the $2 fish taco (taco Tuesday special, loved the carne asada. Had carnitas too, which was tasty, but it's cubed pieces, not shredded. Lean pieces were great, but ran into quite a few really fatty pieces which were not pleasant. Tacos were good size, couldn't finish all 3, 2 should be filling enough next time. Will definitely continue to come back. Like that they have salsa bar. Great food. Good service and always easy to call ahead for pick up. read more

I have been here several times over the last several years when in the area. Food is above average and is good for a quick fix. Staff is pretty friendly and the portions are good. Only things I have tried are the rolls tacos and nachos. Rolled tacos are your usually fast food, quick order, fill you up fast tacos. The nachos are bigger than most other Mexican places. I tried this place for the first time this morning. I needed to pick up a large order for work and the taco shop I usually stop at had a cashier issue so I had to quickly find a new place near work. My coworker quickly googled and found this place and OMG it was a hit with the staff! We had machaca burritos, egg and bacon burritos, etc., etc., and everyone was extremely satisfied! I am so glad my usual place did not work otherwise I would not have found this gem! I will definitely be going back! So now I have to try their dinner items for future late meetings. read more

After a fantastic night of fun with my girls I was feeling like from all the Prosecco and hot tubbing I needed a cure. The nice man behind the counter was very polite when taking my order. I asked if the soyrizo and egg burrito came with cheese, he said no but we can add it. Then I asked if their potatoes were crispy and he said we will make it how ever you like it I confessed to being hung over, he assured me the burrito would help and offered me a free cup of coffee. A few minutes later this beauty was ready. I am telling you, I almost ate the entire thing, moaning in delight with each delicious bite. There are a few taco shops in this area of town. Two of them are within rock chucking distance from my house but my go to place is Rancho's. It is good, basic, Mexican fast food. I always get the red chilaquiles which are perfect and the portion is so big that I will have leftovers. My daughter gets the bean and cheese burrito, and the rest of my family orders the breakfast burritos and California burrito. On Tuesdays we come here for the fish tacos. The people are always friendly and the place is clean enough. PLUS free chips and lots of different salsas! read more

Best fish tacos for $1.25 on Tuesdays you can buy! They are big, freshly made, and have fresh made pico/salsa Fresca with a delicious home made white sauce. I can only do two with the chips and salsa. Very good, and right down the street from my place, so every Tuesday night I am there! I have only had there surf and turf burrito and sides of bean and rice besides the fish tacos, so I can't talk too much about their other food. However, I am somewhat of an aficionado when it comes to the surf and turf burrito, (as in I've eaten probably hundreds and from almost every place I've gone), and there's is about an 8/10. Horrible tasting food. I ordered the carne Asada burrito, it came with little to no guacamole (super irritating) and had a ton of grease. Shouldn't carne asada be grilled not fried in oil??? The rice for my children's kids meal had no flavor at all. My husbands breakfast burrito was dry. The tortillas were not cooked all the way. Horrible experience.
