I was lucky to find Vidal's shop nearby and even though his shop was full and it was a Saturday he agreed to take me in. 1 star. Lost a loyal customer of many years…read more For many years, my family has bought tires here for three cars and a truck. Today was my last visit. I have a serious medical condition, one that both the owner who started the business and his son, who supervises the work, are well aware of, since I explained it to them directly in their office and they both asked me about it at the time. The owner himself has always been kind to me over the years. Unfortunately, it was his son I usually dealt with, and looking back, I feel he treated me differently than other customers, even though I never said anything about it before today. Today, I asked how long the tire replacement would take, given my condition. I was told 30 minutes, 40 at most. After the first half hour, I saw that no one had even touched my car yet. Because I can't be out too long due to my health, I offered to come back another day instead of waiting. He told me not to, and said it would be done soon. Instead, another half hour went by, a full hour total, and my car still hadn't been touched. When I mentioned the wait to him, he said, "With all due respect, sir, you always complain." I asked him to name one time I had complained, whether on my last visit or at any point in all the years I have been coming here. He could not name a single one. He then told me, "We don't need your business," so I left. After he said that, I walked to my car and found a worker had brought over a floor jack and placed it under my car. I didn't feel good about the situation anymore, so I told him I was leaving and drove off. Knowing what he knows about my health, telling me they don't want my business was disrespectful. I have also felt for some time that he treated me differently than other customers. Prices are not worth being treated like this. Being put through this kind of stress, after everything I've already shared with them about my health, is something I won't forget. I suspect the owner doesn't even know this happened, since he was never anything but decent to me.

It was raining a lot, and I was having trouble seeing the road since my wipers weren't wiping anything away. I had just purchased the wipers from the Auto Zone and was trying to figure out how to remove the old ones. It's not often it rains in California, especially as heavy as it was this past week and today, and the car I drive belongs to my parents. I don't normally drive it Also, I'm a rather timid person, and I really get nervous about inconveniencing people, so I was trying to replace the wipers for the first time ever myself. I couldn't pull up a video bc I hit my high-speed data limit recently, so I was relying on a set of instructions off a website. As I was trying to figure this out, Gabriel stopped to help me out. He showed me how to distinguish the pin to unhook the wipers and how to put it on. I was super grateful and really appreciated the advice. He was very patient when teaching me what to look for. Definitely will ingrain those instructions to memory the next time my wipers need some replacing. It was a really informative learning opportunity! The drive was much less daunting now that I was able to see the road without the impediment of the heavy downpour, and I'm super glad we got that resolved before we continued the rest of our way. Also major major thanks to Gabriel who lent me a helping hand! It was raining and he rlly didn't have to, but he did. I wish him the best of luck in everything he does! Will definitely keep the business card on me for when I need a mechanic

Do not trust Honda of Hollywood! Huge disappointment after 20 years of loyalty…read more I brought my Honda Civic Sport here in December 2025 because the A/C wasn't cooling. They told me the compressor was leaking but luckily covered under an extended warranty. They supposedly "fixed" it and sent me on my way. Fast forward a few months, and the A/C completely stops working again. I brought it back at the end of May, left it overnight, and the service advisor, Junior, called to tell me the problem was now the "evaporator"--a repair that would cost me $3,000 out of pocket. Trust your gut! I declined the service and took my car to two different independent A/C specialty shops for a second opinion. Both shops confirmed the evaporator was fine, the problem was still the compressor, and it looked like it was never actually replaced by the dealership in December. I had the compressor fixed at a trusted independent shop, and my A/C works perfectly now. I have brought four different Honda vehicles to this dealership over the past two decades, but after being outright lied to and nearly duped out of $3,000, I will never step foot here again. Filed a complaint with the BBB!
