We loved the baby pig, the silky fainting goat, and the chocolate brown alpaca, but we really lost our minds over the freshly-trimmed English Angora rabbits. Honestly, this was the cutest, cleanest, sweetest petting zoo we've ever encountered. The staff working the event were chill and answered all my questions, would absolutely consider working with them for my own events. Happy to know they're local-ish and awesome!

The horse pens have all been sponsored by different people in the community or different businesses. I live in the area and watched the lot change from a sandy riverbed to a graded level area to drive in. I have animals and I live near this camp. I am glad to see that hesperia is supportive of those of us who still enjoy the desert life and enjoy having our animals. This part of the desert is still very country and many people have small ranches over here. This is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood.

I called on Saturday around 11, told LeeAnn our awful dilemma and asked if she had availability and could have pitty on us for this situation we were in (my sons wedding was scheduled for Sunday @ 3:30 on our property) LeeAnn and her husband were SO kind and helpful. They got us in and bent over backwards to help us. The venue was perfect. We were able to take it from a blank canvas to the perfect, magical, special day it was supposed to be in less than 24 hours. The annual San Bernardino Fair is worth a visit if one has not been before. The Truckload Pass is a…read moregood deal with advanced online purchase at $17 (otherwise $20 in person). Load up and belt the family in the car/truck (up to six members) and the admission price is very reasonable. It includes parking. The fair only runs for two consecutive weekends. I guess gone are the days of two full weeks of fair fun. Bear in mind that this will be very, very small in scale compared to other county fairs in Southern California. You could probably finish looking at everything exhibit wise within a couple of hours. It is limited in livestock exhibits, in general, and the home arts and crafts are held in just one building. Keep expectations low if you enjoy fair exhibits. The two buildings housing the various other business vendors were also not full at all so shopping for gadgets and whatnots will be minimal to non-existent. However, there were ample food vendors with various choices of typical fair fare. There were also plenty of carnival rides available. I did not stay long enough to watch the shows but there was some musical acts scheduled. The fair grounds are clean and appeared to be safe. Could use a few more benches to sit and rest on. Good for a few hours visit with friends and/or family. Probably not enough to see and do for a full day. The venue is small enough that there is only just a mild amount of walking to access areas. I will probably revisit in a few years.
