The ranch is huge and very scenic, with beautiful views overlooking the mountains. It's very kid-friendly and has a variety of farm animals to see, including sheep, horses, pigs, and more. There are also many different horses throughout the property. One thing I really appreciated is that the owner allows guests to bring outside food, which is a nice touch. This ranch seems like a great place to host a party or special event. There is plenty to explore, with different areas that are perfect for taking pictures. We didn't get to do a horse ride this time, but we'll definitely be back to try that next visit. Highly recommend!

I know that many people were a part of this coming together and many people donated time and skills. The horse pens have all been sponsored by different people in the community or different businesses. I live in the area and watched the lot change from a sandy riverbed to a graded level area to drive in. I have animals and I live near this camp. I am glad to see that hesperia is supportive of those of us who still enjoy the desert life and enjoy having our animals. This part of the desert is still very country and many people have small ranches over here. This is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood.

Also: 1. For those complaining about not being able to use their phone on a rental trail ride, it's common sense, if you accidentally drop your phone, it holds up the trail line while the trail guide has to retrieve it for you ( not allowed to get on and off a rental horse)!, it may get broken (and who's fault is that?), stopping to click several photos slows down the timed ride for everyone, and when it falls it may spook the horse. 2. So you want to trot, lope or Gallup? Not on these mountain trails with a horse you aren't familiar , with totally inexperienced riders as well as seasoned riders, and children. Just because YOU think you are an experienced RIDER doesn't matter. These are not your horses. This is a business and safety for all comes first along with protecting the horse's safety. A lame horse cannot be ridden and that is costing vet bills as well as a loss of $65. - I'm a very experienced, seasoned rider.and previous horse owner. I'm looking forward to not needing to show off and just enjoying the experience. He's been able to participate in all aspects of learning horsemanship, which has not only built his skills but also his confidence. He has become dedicated and is always wanting to do his best when completing tasks. What we didn't expect--but are so grateful for--is how therapeutic this experience has been, especially with his favorite superhero horse, Murphy. Being around the horses has had a calming effect on him, and the ranch has become a safe, peaceful place where he feels comfortable and supported. It has also been a great success in helping with his fine motor delays. The staff are incredibly loving, patient, and understanding. They take the time to connect with each individual and create an environment where everyone can thrive at their own pace. It's clear they genuinely care, and that makes all the difference. We are so thankful to have found Wild Wind Ranch. It's been a meaningful and positive experience for our son, and myself gaining wonderful friendships. They did a 20 min train ride and absolutely loved it. The ladies were extremely friendly and made the kids feel comfortable. We will definitely return.

We were warmly greeted along with a couple other first time visitors. The local club members shared tips and friendly stories. Club leader Shelby allowed us to rent one of her horses and took care of everything including getting us familiar with the horse as well as offering horse mounted archery tips. All in all a fabulous experience! Can't wait to come back for their monthly practices!
