Good: - Europe's largest commissary (Google it) - Decent selection - they usually have that one random thing that you want. - Operating hours are awesome and beat most German grocery stores Not Great: - It's pretty much always crowded - Their lunch section, especially the sandwich line is probably the weakest I've ever seen. - When they're out of something, they're OUT of it. Always clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and super helpful. The deli is by far the best part of the Commissary. I am a fiend for fresh deli meats. I have changed my rating because today it was ridiculous in here. The self check out, express line, self bagging line, and regular line were all very long today. The regular line only had 2 registers open, the self bagging was also two registers and the express had just one. Waiting in line for more than 30 minutes was ridiculous in my opinion. read more

It's a good commissary, wish they had sushi, a better deli and more pre cut fruits and veggies.

PROS: - Close to TLF and PX/BX. - Good selection. The Italian section was great. - Good hours. CONS: - Its not their fault but I'm frustrated over the coffee rationing. You have to go to the PX. - The Class VI should be next door. ;) read more

Has everything needed to survive but it's often cheaper to shop off base. Sunday is the worst day to go as it is swarming with people who all seem to coordinate their shopping. read more

This is an unbelievable store! Amazing selection, unbeatable value, and excellent quality! The meat selection is the best! Go there with an adventurous spirit and open mind, be willing to try something new because there are flavors from all over Europe here. You'll even find a good selection of Asian foods. The staff there are also incredibly helpful and the cashiers are pleasant, witty and charming! It's such a welcoming atmosphere here. I will be returning time and time again. Seriously, from all the Commissaries I've been through in Europe, this is by far the biggest and best! read more

This commissary is the biggest one I've ever been to. Probably about 3/4 of the typical Costco. The deli section has make your own as well as freshly made sandwiches and can get really busy around the lunch hour. There are rows of items that you can find and typically expect from a commissary. And there are European items like sparkling water and various non-alcoholic drinks. The fruit are from local sources. And there are at least 20 service lines to help service the customers and at times there are a crazy amount of customers. In terms of parking, there's enough to accommodate the customer base, except during the holidays when it seems like the whole base comes in to get items. You'll need a ration card for items like coffee and alcohol. read more
