I was traveling across country on I10 at approximately 12noon on 2/18/2020 for temp contract work in Georgia.. I experienced a fire at the 159 exit rest stop on the back of my vehicle which was extinguished with the help of the the rest stop care takers and some good samaritans. The car was damaged considerable and after Cal Hwy Patrol arrived , the officer, contacted Ramsey towing. When the tow truck arrived, I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew. Andrew introduced himself and was very supported sensing the predicament I was in. When we got in his truck, he assessed the cost of the tow, mileage to a car rental place 25 miles west, and the towing of the car east 55 miles from there to the storage yard for the vehicle. While he was calculating the cost, he overheard me talking to my wife on the phone about my insurance being Geico. He told me have my wife check our coverage to see if Geico would cover the tow. And they would,which saved me a lot of money. Andrew drove me and the car to Indio to find a lack of rental car availabilty resulting us traveling another 20 miles to the Palm Springs airport where I finaly got a car to drive home. Andrew helped retireve what belongings where not damaged by the fire, we parted and as I left for home I realized that my check books were in the car in a damage back pack. I contacted Ramseys office and was helped by a very nice long lady who put Andrew in contact with me. I asked Andrew to try to retrieve the check books, he did and contacted me. Andrew spent pretty much 1/2 day helping me in my predicament in a very supportive and PROFESSIONAL manor. read more

Stranded for hours at a campsite near Desert Center, CA. The name should explain it all. We stopped for a hot second to sleep about 7 miles off Interstate 10 on a dirt road. At the time we were there in June the road was in great condition. We called Ramsey Towing first however they suggested we call our Auto insurance to see if we could get a covered battery jump instead of paying alot of money for a simple task. After hours of having the insurance company call at minimum 5 other towing places, Ramsey was the only provider that would come find us in the desert off a dirt road. No one else would even attempt or ask if we needed water. Once at the site, Gary determined it was not the battery but a rat had compromised several wires in the night. Gary had Andrew the tow guy driver take us all the way to Indio to help us on our way. Andrew even drove us to a hotel since we basically were stranded in the city after being stranded in the desert. We had enough supplies to last a day or two but without the help and patience of these two guys we would have been in serious danger. read more

This place is awesome for when you're in a jam. Drove deep into some sugar sand in my van on the east side of the Colorado River and got stuck. Tried multiple ways to get unstuck but ended up getting myself more stuck in the process until I decided it was better to stop since the under carriage of my van was resting on the earth with loose sand surrounding me for 100 yards in every direction. Called a company or two and decided on this one because the woman who answered the phone, Heather, was kind, courteous, helpful and honest. She dispatched out Richard, who was also courteous, respectful and professional, who arrived within an half hour with a front loader hooked up the van and pulled it all the way back out to the road. The cost was 1/3 of what I was expecting it to be and they took credit as well. Which is good because I never seem to have cash on me at these times. Overall I would say that this company was as professional as they come based on experience with Heather and Richard. Highly recommend. read more

AMAZING, AMAZING Custome service, professionalism and response! Brandon went WAY above and beyond to not only help us but to save us as much money as possible. We have a 3/4 ton Dodge with a full size camper and a utility trailer that was buried down to the axle. To help us save money he told us if we dug the tree that was in the way and the sand out as much as possible he would come back the next morning and only charge a very reasonable amount, we agreed. Not only was he very professional but he also made sure that due to the pinch we were in we were comfortable and had everything we needed overnight until he came back bright and early the next morning. I highly recommend using Ramsey Towing for your towing needs. The customer service was exceptional. My family is in the process of moving from Mississippi to Oregon. Today, while driving through California, our truck and trailer broke down. We were stranded on the side of the freeway with a pickup towing a trailer, and a 26' truck that was towing a vehicle. Our tow truck driver was to us within an hour (because he was on another call), and got us hooked up and towed to Blythe, to Anthony's Automotive. He was willing to give my daughter, myself, and our cat a ride to our hotel afterwards at no extra cost. Our driver was so kind and awesome. The owner was very friendly and went out his way to help me i have a 2001 lexus that had a flat tire but because my lexus has a lock on each tire and i had no key for it i was running around town trying to find someone who would be able to remove the locks and put my new tire on .....on my way to the fourth shop that day my tire blow out up the road from ramsey tow and the owner came out and looked at it and was able to remove the lock and put a new tire on with in five minutes read more

Ramsey Towing is my hero...my father had heat stroke on Interstate 10 and after getting him safely to the hospital. I called Ramsey Towing to tow his van to town. They were Great, not only did they tow the van, look for my fathers wallet but the next day they picked him up at the hospital and got him to a hotel with plenty of water to stay hydrated. I broke down about 10 miles west of Blythe at 1am headed home to Phoenix. My tow truck driver showed up earlier then expected. Meet me with a friendly smile and his customer service was amazing! I believe his name was Gary. He noticed something and said I may just be out of gas. Sure enough we went to closest gas station and I was back on the road. I highly recommend this company and heaven forbid I ever break down in that area again I will be calling these guys! read more

These folks are the absolute best. Just recently I was recovering my car from a failed transmission. I was unable to get the car to roll back in order to get it on a tow dolly. I called Ramsey and they had a driver stop by to see if they could help. The driver, I think his name was Gary, pulled my car back and helped me load it on the dolly.
