We had a flat in the middle of the Imperial County desert driving from San Diego to Prescott Valley. The tow truck driver took over an hour to get to us because of the location. He quickly changed the tire to our donut and very nice. We called ahead to Joe's and they were so nice checking for our tire size in stock. Luckily the employee was able to plug the tire. He didn't stop there, he dunked it to make sure it wasn't leaking. Helped us put the donut back in truck after he filled it with air, and aired up all four tire. All this for $25. Joes tires has been our tire source on several occasions! Most recently we were leaving on a long road trip, and discovered our tires needed to be replaced before leaving Blythe. The owner was very accommodating & beat the other price quote and also got our tires , which had to be ordered, a day earlier than promised ! What a life -saver ! There was another occasion where he helped fit us with a full size wheel and spare to replace the "factory donut spare" we were not sure the upgrade would work and still fit in our spare tire compartment but he patiently figured out that it would and sold us a full sized used wheel and new furniture size "spare tire" For a VERY FAIR PRICE . We stopped at a gas station to check on our tire and discovered there was a nail in it. So I went straight to Yelp to help me find a tire repair. My husband and our six children were driving home from our vacation back to Phoenix. 40 miles west of Blythe we had to pull over for what we thought was one flat rear tire. We're we're sold the wrong specs for a spare tire on our trailer by Discount Tire... long story short, years later we were stranded on the side of the freeway on the 10 with a heavy load on our trailer. Joe's tires ROCKS!!! We were stranded in Blythe after blowing a tire and destroying our wheel when passing through Quartzite, AZ. Adrian and his staff went above and beyond to help us out. Even though we planned to purchase a new wheel, Adrian assured us that they could beat out, repair, and balance the damaged one. He sold us a great used tire and his talented staff had it on quickly. They checked and filled all of my tires, replaced the small spare under the van, and even put away the tools we had used to change the tire. While there, we noticed some classic cars that the shop was working on and realized that Joe's is a full service shop. I was so pleased that though I live in Palm Springs I will consider stopping at Joe's for oil changes and any necessary repairs on my twice a year travels through Blythe. I was on a road trip from Los Angeles to Phoenix and noticed at a bathroom break in Blythe that I had a chunk of sidewall missing from my front, passenger tire and steel belts were exposed. I looked online and chose to go with Joe's Tires. Not only did they have the tire in stock and were able to break off the locking lug nuts (Lexus failed to give me the key when I purchased the car), but the price was competitive and I was back on the road in 30 minutes. There are 3 tire shops that come up in Blythe with a quick search. I called the other two besides Joe's, and they were out of the trailer tires I needed, or only had new ones for $96. Joe's had a pair for $45 each, and they're in great shape. I guess there's a reason this shop has the highest rating in town. read more

Our tire blew out about 17 miles outside of Blythe on our way back to L.A. from Phoenix. After getting the spare put on we turned around and slowly drove back to Blythe for a new tire. First we went to Goodyear where we were quoted $172 not including installation. Then on to Alex tires. He didn't have our size. He recommended Joe's (Kudos to Alex for the recommendation). At Joe's we were offered a "used" tire. We never thought of that. The tire was practically new and everything plus installation came to less that $60.
