My 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid front windshield was cracked and smashed in by a bolder flying from a back of a gravel hauler and the dealership wanted $1800 to fix it and everywhere else wanted $1250-2100 to fix my windshield they were charging more for The calibration then the windshield. But I Ramirez auto glass. I got my front windshield fixed for under $500 and that included the calibration. They also gave me a warranty to bring my vehicle back if anything went wrong. However, I did not need to take my car back because they did it right on the first try. Even though this was the cheaper place I found to replace my back Windshield the technicians did a terrible job. Panels were put back incorrectly, they scratch many parts of the speakers surfaces and they leave all the broken glasses on my trunk and back seat. Will not utilize service again. read more

Miss Ramirez talks over you doesn't like to explain what the problem is they missed a rubber seal on my windshield. I can hear air coming through it when talking to her she was very rude. Disrespectful interrupted every five seconds wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise kept calling me an old lady, when in fact, I'm not old, kept speaking into me in Spanish after I repeatedly told her that I didn't understand Spanish she was not very helpful at all. I read reviews prior to having Ramirez do my windshield replacement and still decided to give it a go. OEM glass for my car through the manufacture and dealer was $1500 for the glass alone. I paid $205 through Ramirez and that included installation. They did a great job. Walked in and waited until it was done. They were busy with a full lot and I waited there and it took a few hours. I would suggest expecting the job to take half a day and prepare to leave your car there and come back. All these people complaining about bad customer service are straight up Karens. The 2 women I dealt with at the front were nice the whole time and I had a good experience. Put a smile on your face, treat people with respect, and you can expect the same in return. I am more than happy that I chose this place and it saved me a $1500+. If I ever need glass work done on my vehicle I will come here again. Windshield replaced was for a Nismo 370z. read more

This place is really bad. Not professional at all and they don't know what they are doing. Windshield replacement was done to find out wiper arms were hitting the left pillar after the replacement and rain sensing wasn't working after paying extra for calibration. Went back to correct those and was told that things were fixed but wiper arms weren't fixed and they claimed, "we don't remove wiper arms". After showing the arm is hitting the left pillar, They only fixed the driver side arm and refused to fix the other. The wiper arms are installed uneven and they claim their customer, "being too picky". If you care about your car, I would avoid this place. read more

The WORST experience! I should say, the office staff was so nice! But MARIE RAMIREZ, the wife of the owner, is a TERRIBLE business owner/person. They cut my dash board with little slits all the way across my dash board. This was a brand new car that I had just bought! She refused to have my dash replaced and insisted on "patching" the cuts. After Ford told me themselves this couldn't be done without having it crack and discolor in the future due to the heat! She became nasty, wouldn't warranty the repair work, let alone tell me what company would be working on my vehicle. She hung up on me, and when we did speak, she said "I'm not paying to replace your dash, I'll tell you that much." I'm sorry, if you DAMAGE something, you should ABSOLUTELY fix it. I shouldn't have to settle for "patch" work because you don't want to be out anymore money. I will NEVER recommend doing business with this company! I went after her company insurance, and got them to pay for the repairs THE RIGHT WAY! She also refused to give me her companies insurance info, so my insurance had to go after her company. I waited MONTHS to write this review, in fear of retaliation, because that's they type of person Marie is. But now that it's over, consumers deserve to know! Worst business in San Antonio I called for a auto window replacement and the lady said that they would not order parts till I get there.when I arrived there was one customer in front of me at the window, when I get to the window I asked how long will it take, she had no answer, wouldn't tell me where I was in line from customers, two hours later the customer in front of me gets his vehicle, so I'm thinking I'm next, 2 1/2 hours later I get my vehicle. while waiting there for 4 1/2 hours, there was a lot of confusion with people there working in the office of about four or five ladies, didn't know what was going on there's a lot of yelling back-and-forth on what to do, if the lady would've told me it would take 4 to 5 hours for my vehicle to be ready I would not have left it there. just cause they're cheaper does not mean they're better!! worst customer service ever in San Antonio! Just a poor experience from start to finish. Took them my truck on a trailer to install new windshield and rear glass. Glass was already removed before having the truck painted. Original quote was 450.00 upon arrival and noticing the truck was a custom built vehicle I was then told that the back glass had went up 50.00 for a better quality one. No problem I'm a get what you pay for kind of person. So after having the truck for over 4 hours they complete it and the windshield looks great. The back glass was covered all the way around the seam with attachment tape. Being in the automotive industry for 20 years I found that strange but was insured cause the put extra urethane because of the audio system that was in the truck. This was Friday afternoon. I waited till Sunday evening to pull the tape on the back glass. Holy crap. The encapsulated molding on the back glass is so butchered it is pathetic. Huge gap on one side and urethane everywhere. And just a shoty install. Called Monday and told the lady about it and I would like somebody to come out and fix it. Well that didn't sit well with her. Possibly the rudest service rep I've ever dealt with. I said well I can dispute the charge with my bank and put a hold till it's fixed properly. Then She accuses me of trying to steal the glass. I told her I wouldnt want this install if it were free. Then she gets the owner involved and he threatens to come pull his glass out at my home. Yeah that won't go over well. I ain't looking for nothing but the glass to be installed right and for them to fix the wrong. From listening to both of them I doubt that will happen. We had one minor hiccup because my car was a sport & they were given the regular Rogue windshield , but they went and got the correct windshield . They were quick and very friendly ! Please read the Google and Yelp reviews regarding this service shop! I only wish I had.  On  8/14/17, I decided to use Ramirez Auto Glass to replace a chipped windshield on my new car that was purchased on 6/14/17. This establishment was recommended by a prominant car dealership, and was the lessor priced of other glass repair shops around the San Antonio area.  Upon inspection of my vehicle after replacement of the windshield, I saw a scratch through the clear coat on the passenger side front fender. Also, more noticeably was a very clear and specific "crease" like dent on the hood on the driver side. I suspect it was caused when removing the original windshield, or possibly was bumped during the installation of the new one. The indentation was very narrow and about three quarters of an inch long and it certainly had not been there prior to the repair. This car is hand washed very often and it is quite easy to tell if it sustains any blemishes. The owner, upon looking at the car, stated that "There was no way this occurred at his shop." He said all of their work is done right at the windshield area, and it was not possible that his shop was responsible for the damage. Also, he would not consider the matter further.  After informing the General Manager at the Ancira Kia dealership where I purchased the car, the repairs were graciously taken care of at their body shop at no expense to me. Ancira apologized for the service we received. Honestly, I have no idea how Ramirez Auto Glass stays in business. Their complete operation has the appearance of no one that I want to have any association with. read more

I asked a professional colleague who he recommended for glass work, and he said "For my personal stuff and family/friends - Safelite. Cheap sh*t get it down the road Ramírez Auto Glass." So I guess I should have known better; but since my car is older, I called and spoke with Marie on Tuesday and told her I needed to have my windshield replaced. She offered to have the job done at my office by their mobile technician, but said they wouldn't be able to give me a specific time (they would be there sometime between 10:00 and 4:00). Alternatively, she said if I came to them to have the work done at their shop, they could get it done much more quickly. I asked her when and she told me to come "first thing" at 9:30 on Thursday morning (today), I thanked her, and I told her I would be there. She then texted me their business card to confirm the address. I walked in at 9:29. I told the woman at the front desk I had spoken with Marie and was there for my appointment. She knew nothing about it and said I would have to wait "a long time...at least until after lunch" because "there are already 3 cars that came in before you, and we have to get your glass". I politely and calmly expressed my frustration saying that I couldn't wait that long and asking why I set the appointment in the first place. The woman called Marie and told her what was going on...then hung up and said "I mean, yea, you're welcome to wait for it, but we don't work by appointment." I also asked why they wouldn't already have my glass there ready to go, and she responded "We don't do that, because people don't show up." If I had been a walk-in, I would completely understand; but Marie told me to come "first thing at 9:30". I showed up on time, and yet there were already 3 people in front of me, they didn't have my glass, and they told me I'd have to wait roughly half the day ("at least"). I will never use Ramírez Auto Glass, and I recommend you do not either. read more

I was referred to this place from my uncle. First impression was although it's a small business they were semi friendly when I went in. I explained to them I just needed my front windshield replaced (I had called two days prior to confirm they'd have the windshield available for my vehicle) they told me it'd take about an hour and a half or so. I waited in their waiting area....they had several chairs available although it was just me and one other person. There was a tv on for entertainment. The staff did not seem very professional, as they were receiving personal order deliveries from amazon. And having our loud personal conversations. When it came time to pay after they explained the instructions I were to follow for my replacement I gave them my debit card to process the transaction, during the first initial swipe of the debit card they received some type of error and said they'd need to swipe it again. They gave me one receipt to sign and I left. Later throughout that day when i review my checking account activity I realized there was two separate transactions from this merchant. I figured I'd give it some time as I know some duplicate items can drop off if there was a terminal error. However the following day both transactions were pending. This was impacting my checking account and other transactions I needed to make. At this point I called the merchant to confirm they only had one transaction going through for me and explained why I was calling. I reached out to my financial institution to see if the duplicate transaction could be removed I was informed the merchant would need to provide the authorization codes so my bank would know which one to remove, this required we get the merchant on the phone with us. During the three way call the merchant seemed very unsure of how the processing works or what an authorization code is and did not provide it to my bank so my bank was unable to do anything to help me with that duplicate transaction. The merchant informed me I would need to call back when their higher manager is there to speak with them about the transaction. I was pretty upset that the transaction date happened on 2/14 and I was going to have to wait until 2/21 to speak to someone for some type of correction. But I waited. I called on the 21sr and spoke to their "higher manager" explained to her the whole ordeal. She tells me she only has one transaction showing they changed me once, so how could it happen that I'm charged twice? I explained to her I could not break to her how the processing of her terminal works or why she is only seeing one transaction report for me. At this point she caught a nasty attitude, she said she felt I was trying to scam her and this is a bank error. I became so heated I literally laughed because of her reaction to this, for someone who runs a business I was embarrassed for her attitude and impression she was giving out. I explained to her I wouldn't be wasting my time and dealing with her attitude if that was the case especially if i have exact proof that her company is double charging me. We even got my bank on the phone for another three way call, she was so adamant that this was a bank error even my bank told her "ma'am, banks cannot initiate a transaction, this is two separate transactions your company did. There's even two separate authorization codes" but she wasn't hearing it. I explained to her because of her attitude she really needed to take a moment and realize this was not a personal conversation she was having with someone that she may have beef with, this is a business conversation and she's being informed from the customer as well as their bank that her own company made an error and charged twice, she needed to be professional and own that and it was sad for her in a business how poor her attitude was. Even the banker that was on the phone with us asked for her to get off the line because she was obviously not going to improve the situation nor cared to. Huge disappointment. It was obvious an error with the merchant, there was proof from the bank showing, the bank confirmed there was two delegate auth codes from them, but instead of her owning their mistake she falsely accused me of trying to pull a scam on her, that I was just trying to get money from them, adamant about it being a bank error and expressed herself so poorly as a person, a women, and a business. Not even ten minutes later, that same woman, same company calls me "ms. Regalado, I don't know how it happened but we found the other charge......" woooooooooowwwww I so badly wanted to say more to this but I figured these people as well as the company need more help and there was no sense in spending more time speaking with them because it would be an insult of my time to waste on them after their episode they've created. Fernandez Honda sent them to my house to get front windshield replaced since I would not buy the car without it being fixed. First impression they were late. They ruined my moldings using a crowbar!!! My alarm doesn't work now because when they were removing the windshield they cut my alarm wires. Finally they couldn't put my rear view mirror back on, and I had to go to the shop where I was greeted by a man who looked at me as if I was bothering him. He was on the phone and made me wait for almost 30 mins. After that it took him another 30 minutes for Him to put my rear view mirror back on. Came here to get back window on truck resealed because water was leaking in. They made it worse by not resealing the entire window, broke my dome light, and broke my break light. Rafael is the manager, sitting in the front desk with a bad attitude. Its costing the dealership an extra $1000 to replace the dome light and break light. Not to mention what it will cost them to reseal the window. When i called to speak with manager, he got on the phone screaming, let me speak. And he denied ever servicing the truck in the first place. He said the reason y she sounded rude on the phone was because he has an accent. If you have a newer car with sensors DONT go here. Most people on here giving bad reviews have sensors. They dont know anything about windshields that need to be replaced that have sensors. They came out first time with wrong window and I have the a second change to just have them bring the same one the second time. Wasted two of my off days waiting for nothing. My husband was trying to be nice and have the come out a second time on the last day because they said they had the one I need but 30mibs before they were suppose to come they call to say they dont have my windshield!
