Street parking no private area to park…read more Fried items and salads come out super fast the meals are cooked so fast it was impressive. Basket of bread and butter, that seems to be the norm around here in all restaurants. They waitress was awesome and asked if we wanted separate checks and that was nice as most of the other places we went the staff drowned upon us when we requested. CHERRY LAMBIC (belle-vue- kriek)- God and Angel's made this beer, I love it, it tasted like fruit punch but with alcohol in it. BRUSSELS SEA FOOD - real bad. The taste of the croquette was almost like I could taste the oil and the flour where the coquette gets its heaviness. Real heavy and unapatizing the calamari was also heavy on the batter and oily. I could not eat it. The wait staff didn't even realize I didn't like and didn't touch the food. even though I did not touch the plate I probably ate one or two items and could not keep going, the taste of the oil where the meal was fried was pretty overwhelming and the meal itself was blend, that is the reason why the oil was so prominent in my opinion. in the end of the day the place is spacious and the staff is pretty ok, the drinks are good and the food comes fast. I wanna give the benefit of the doubt that I am the one that chose an unfortunate meal, so if you go there try something else and let us know what you think.

A solid restaurant choice if you were nearby…read more The restaurant is not huge but spacious enough to seat many people: small party or large party. Its shrimp dish 12.9 euros is flavorful and juicy. The soup of day (carrot, leek, or others) is portioned right for the 6.6 euros it charges for. Sparkling water is 2.6 euros and rose wine is 3.6 euros. It's not cheap but the prices are not outrageous, either. I also tried its strawberry waffle 6.9 euros. Not bad at all but I'd definitely take my waffle business to Dandoy! A good choice for lunch or dinner. Food is served fast and service is quick.

We came on a Sunday night. The square was busy with football fans, but the restaurant was mostly…read moreempty (nobody outside and only three other tables full inside (bad sign)). We were seated immediately, but it took a good 15 min (and my asking) before anyone came over to take our order. The beer and waters came quickly, and the food followed right after. I ordered something called the "Nashville.' which was supposed to have some kind of sauce and mushrooms. Instead, I got a sliced steak over arugula with potatoes, ratatouille and BBQ sauce. The steak was a little overcooked but edible. My son ordered chicken wings, which I thought tasted fine, but he didn't like. After the meal, don't wait around for a check. Walk up to the bar and pay at the register.

An interesting décor with friendly and proactive staff, but the food itself quite possibly ranked…read moreas some of the worse I've had in a long time. The place does its best to look and feel like a 'wild west' saloon, but take the time to look in more detail and it feels a little cheap and tacky. Nonetheless, the spirit of the far west is there and the menu backs this up with all the expected items, wings ribs, burgers, nachos and tacos. Unfortunately look and feel combined with an appetizing menu simple do not make up for the poor quality of the food. I like honesty and I'll commend the place for adding a small asterisk beside each and every ingredient that comes from the freezers. The downside of this is when more than half the dishes contain defrosted ingredients, including the first half of the burger list. We opted to share some nachos and stuffed jalapeno peppers before tucking into two burgers. Incidentally I opted for a burger where there was no asterisk next to the meat, whereas my partner went for one with the asterisk. No to worry though, both were equally poor. The meat was dry, tasteless and with even less add-ons inside than at any of the main fast-food chains. Needless to say it was a real disappointment. Not to mention the fries accompanying the burger which were shockingly bad (especially when your neighbor is a decent fritkot!). As for the starters, I thought the jalapeno were not too bad (despite their frozen origin), and the nachos tasted ok provided you stayed clear of the dips (they may not have come from a freezer, but the tin they came from was equally bad). I normally refrain from writing a review if I expect to put the lowest grade but seeing more than two stars when looking up this one gave me the impetus to take action.

I'll keep it short, because I was very disappointed by this restaurant, as I was so looking forward…read moreto it. Why? 1) Because their website makes their hamburgers look succulent, 2) finally a different kind of restaurant in the EU quarter. What happened? With a couple of colleagues, we decided to go here for lunch. My colleagues ordered a chicken burger, a falafel burger and an Apple Jack. I went for the most expensive I think: the guacamole burger (22 euros!!!) so my expectations were high (for that price...). When our burgers arrived, we were impressed by the size and the look. However, here we go: - Fries were way too greasy, with no taste. The only taste we had was the taste of oil. - The meat was cooked as desired. However, the meat was just plain. - The bun was way too dry. - My guacamole? Not that much guacamole in it and the taste of the guacamole lacked that little kick of the guacamole. - My colleague's falafel burger was just huge and could not be considered as a burger, as she had to eat her falafel individually and in the end did not touch the bun. Some positive points that still gives it a 2 star? - They put some efforts to have a very neat decoration to create a nice atmosphere inside - The salad that comes with it is good, fresh and with a nice dressing But 22 euros for just enjoying the salad? That's not going to have me come back. Really too bad though, because the EU quarter needs some better options for lunch and if possible at reasonable prices. Requirements that this restaurant doesn't meet.

Pretty common burger place…read more I liked the meat, the waitress was friendly, they answered nicely and fast to my email, they had a good range of beers and they had gluten free bread. I didn't like that we had to pay 2 more euros for the gluten free bread, the food was pretty fast, the tables were too close to each other, the plate too big and the prices a little bit too expensive for the experience (22€ for the Jack Daniels burger +2€ for the bread) So if you want a burger and you're in the neighborhood why not but I don't think I'll go back.
