After eight days without any communication and being told by Robert, the field rep who sold the contract to me that he would get back with me concerning the two employees Shane and Josh who came four days later than the original planned date because they had equipment breakdown. When no one was returning my calls as to when the foam would be put in after the initial dig to place the supports, I called Groundworks National Office and told them that if someone was not here to finish the job yesterday or today that I was going to hire another company due to breach of contract. Well, they came today and after placing the foam, they are caulking the cracks on the porch with silicone caulk which was told to me by Robert that the cement would be placed. Josh has just said that "we are not cement specialit, we are cement lifting specialist." I went out to check the work and he had smeared silicone caulk all along the brown brick instead of closing the crack flush with the porch. It's a mess! I told Josh that the smsared caulk on the brick had to be removed and ask if he was waiting until it dried on purpose because he refused to say that he would remove it. instead, he smurkingly said, "I'll do the best I can". I said that is not what I asked. I asked you if you were going to remove thd caulk you smeared all along the brick wall and he repeated, "I'll do the best I can." I called AFS and left a message of how he was doing the job and what he said. No reply. Please do not spend one dime to have this company fix one small crack. They send inexperienced untrained people who do not know what they are doing. I do not expect perfection but I do expect excellent work for 13,000.00! 8,800.00 up front then the balance BEFORE this job was finished. If they leave it like this it will have to be finished by another company. Additionally, if you look at reviews on Yelp, every reply to a negative review is followed by saying, "We cannot find an acount in your name." When I called two weeks ago about the truck not working and I had to remain at home while they came and did no work for two hours, just looked at theur cellphones and after two hours called me to themselves and Josh said,"We will have to come back sometime next week because the machine isn't working. He told me that before they left Knoxville to drive up. I feel like I have been held hostage for two weeks. Josh said, "and I will call you Monday."Never heard a word from him." When I asked him why he never called me, he said, "I assumed scheduling would call." This is the most unprofessional company to date. Yesterday two men came as scheduled and put up a fence all day. Anothe man came and fixed my garage door opener as scheduled. If I, as a registered nurse did this kind of service, the customer service alone would get me looking for another job. The AFS Company compliments itself by claiming, "We take great pride in caring for your home to provide a safe place" as well as "our DUTY to follow the highest standards in everything we do." You will hear that on a recorder, but in reality, it's a scam. At least a lie at minimum. Please do not waste many weeks of your precious time catering to this pathetic company.

The guy who showed up to my house to do the inspection was GREAT! Very professional I had great measurements he communicated everything.... The crew that did my job didn't talk to me about anything, they left a mess afterward, there were bottles, etc... left everywhere. Days later we were wondering, WHY IS IT SO HOT IN HERE?! Our HVAC guy came out to find that HVAC vents around the perimeter where they dug were removed from my daughters room, one was now in water and the intake/return were detached from the unit. The HVAC company had seen my unit and duct work previously and stated that is not the condition it was in. IT GETS BETTER! Then the owner came out, he said about how his guys are to report existing or damage done to the home owner which they didn't otherwise if they did I would understand of existing issues before either from his workers or my HVAC people. He then went under my house to inspect for himself and take his own pictures, etc... while down there he took it upon himself to move ducts etc... because now he says there isn't anything disconnected except for the one. The HVAC company is coming out tomorrow to tell me what he had moved so I have proof that he is trying to cover himself or his guys. LET ME CLEARLY STATE, I DID NOT ASK FOR HIM TO MOVE ANYTHING RELATED TO HVAC AS I DO NOT KNOW IF HE IS QUALIFIED TO DO ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO HVAC. I am having to spend 3K out of my own pocket to fix HVAC lines, possibly do MOLD TESTING, hotel if there is mold so my DAUGHTER ISN'T HARMED. The owner had talked to his guys to only hear that they said nothing was reported or their fault. So I guess I will have to see them in court because he DOES NOT FEEL THE NEED TO OWN THE DAMAGES HE AND HIS COMPANY HAS DONE TO OUR HOUSE. I gave the owner the phone number of the HVAC company and invited him to come out to discuss the HVAC condition and work but he has declind and is not sending anyone on his behalf.

Nobody likes dealing with home issues, but they've been on the case and totally honest with my wife and I since then. But more importantly, the tech they sent has pointed out issues around our house beyond the work done in our crawlspace. Several years ago the tech pointed out that our electrical incoming area was damaged, and this week it was pointed out that there was a water leak under the house and soffit damage that I'd never have noticed, but thanks to MS, I contacted our whole home water filtration company that our units were the issue, and today it was repaired. If you need anything "Basementy" repaired or want total encapsulation, they're the company to call. My family will always be thankful for their going beyond the call of duty to protect our home from the evils of water damage! They can be trusted to do the right thing. Promise!

Master Services, Master Dry, All Things Basementy or whatever name they are going by now) was the only one that said I had a frighteningly serious mold issue. He said he won't even do a thorough inspection without a rebreather and suiting up. He even came back with pictures of "MY" crawlspace. I was terrified. He said it would cost around $26.000 to fix it (vapor barrier, humidifier, sand blasting the mold, a sump pump, proper drainage, etc.) The other two inspectors had no issue with mold. I saw pictures of my crawl space from them as well. Those pictures showed a totally different crawl space from the pictures Master Services showed me They found a moisture barrier would be helpful and maybe a humidifier if I was worried about future problems. Thank goodness I knew to get more inspections.
