I was not told that if I stopped that they wouldn't refill my script. On the phone INSTEAD of asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment they told me to call my primary and then hung up. Screw that. If they really weren't out for the money they wouldn't make me go to therapy and pay a $40 co pay on top of a $40 script. If they knew anything they'd know that there is a difference between a chemical imbalance - which has only been cured for me through medication (after 10 years of therapy) and not make me go and sit in silence for a script. I liked the therapist and the doctors. Their policies are ridiculous and inconvenient and the staff sucks. If they really cared about their patients they would have called me after they received the request for a script refill and not just tell me to go somewhere else.

I called the receptionist who was rude and she told me that i should have called at 2:25. I told her I didn't know. She said well you probably missed your appt. And I did. But the next day the receptionist called me to reschedule, she got loud and rude again and said that i was a no call no show for the visit. I couldn't even speak to whoever makes that decision to waive the fee. The person or people who make the decision just passes the info onto the rude receptionist or a billing representative!​

He is funny, but more than anything he conveys to his patients his fervent desire for them to feel better, and that he is on the same team as them. It's amazing what a transformative effect that has on a teenager. For example, on a recent visit, the NMT was being, well, a teen. Sullen, silent, maddeningly obstinate. He went into session staring at the ceiling and ignoring everything Dr. Hernz said, every attempt to start a conversation was met with a glare then a look away. Fun stuff. After about 10 minutes (really, I timed it) Dr. Hernz calmly turns to me and says "So, what have you noticed?" I began to share my observations, the NMT got up, walked out. OK. Then, five minutes later, he walks back in and...starts talking. Engages. Wow. Then Dr. Hernz tells him again, he's there to help him, he really wants him to feel better. My son, he looks at his doctor and says "I'm really sorry for walking out. I needed a moment but that was rude." Shut the front door. Dr. Hernz took it in stride, and they continued working. Other good things: Appointments are always on time, or within 5 minutes of scheduled time. Receipts are sent promptly within a day of the session. 95% of the time prescriptions are sent electronically, and this is done promptly. The imperfect: I don't always get a same-day response to email, it's usually a day or two. Occasionally prescriptions are not sent over promptly, as in sent within a day or two. Messages left for him are returned, sometimes same day, sometimes within a day or two. It's a graceful pace of administration. Also, no surprises, he does not participate with any insurance carrier. This is not surprising, it's rare to find a psychiatrist who does, they are a nationally underserved medical specialty, and especially in child psychiatry, there are far too few of them available, period. The good part of that is that his fees are reasonable, so the amount over what our insurance plan covers is fairly small. If you can't guess by the time you got here, YES I would recommend him. He's wonderful.

I had suffered a wrist injury that left me unable to properly use my hand for months, which affected my ability to work and led me to experience depression for the first time in my life. I had never gone to therapy before and was genuinely looking for help and support. Unfortunately, the experience did not match what I expected. My first session lasted around 30 minutes due to a time zone scheduling issue, yet I was still charged about $100 for that visit. The second session also did not provide much meaningful guidance, and overall it felt like I paid a significant amount of money just to have very basic conversation without real support+ if i paid that imagine how much they took from the Insurance for a 30 mins appoinment of really nothing. pretty wild right? After insurance processed the claims, I was charged nearly $150 in total. As someone who has been financially limited due to months of injury and reduced ability to work, seeing that money withdrawn from my account was extremely stressful. I reached out to explain my situation and ask if there was any flexibility or consideration given the circumstances, but the responses I received simply redirected me back to my insurance company without addressing the concerns about the experience itself. Seeking help for mental health should not leave someone feeling financially stressed and unheard. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

DO NOT USE THEM they…read moreare NOT a legit company and they WILL deduct money from your account, unlawfully and you will not have any further ongoing appointments, the whole establishment is a SCAM. You will NOT have an appointment, once they get access to your account they will keep deducting. If you do get a meeting, you will only get the initial meeting, it's part of how they trick you, then they make fake appointments moving forward and charge you false no show fees. Even if you reach out to support about the mistake on their end they do nothing, they lie and can't keep their story straight. They said they would issue a refund and when I asked for it in writing they said they were not able to. I asked for the name and date and time they supposedly be issuing me a refund and they said the name of the associate was "J" nothing else. They are LIERS!! We have filled a police report, and the police have confirmed this IS A SCAM, and we are now working with the bank to get our money back!! DO NOT USE THEM. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY and will never meet with a therapist. They are a SCAM !!!!!!
