I met Ralph Ferro at a very difficult time in my life. I was going through a divorce and as well as losing my home in a short sale. With Ralph's guidance I decided that the only way for me to repair the damage to my financial situation would be start over and claim bankruptcy. This was a costly mistake. My own personal opinion is that you should do some SERIOUS research, and due diligence before retaining Ralph Ferro Jr.'s services. It COULD cost you thousands of dollars, precious time, extreme frustration and the horrific consequences of having an unnecessary, detrimental credit report for the next 10 years. I am profoundly disappointed in my decision to retain Ralph as my lawyer. read more

Worst advice I have ever received was to hire Ralph. Please do your research. He is very abrupt. On our initial consultation, he projected outcomes that weren't even close (WHATSOEVER) to what really happened. He kept filing for more and more motions to get himself paid more and more money through the plan. Being new and ignorant to all of this, I didn't realize that I could object my own attorneys motions. Ralph said that this entire process would cost between $3,500-$5,000 maximum. He stated that I'd be able to pay creditors(I was paying all of them back 100 percent on the dollar-btw.) $2k a month for the next 3-5 years. The reality was, that between him and the trustee, this cost me over $12k-Ralph received over 10k! Not one creditor was paid *except for him and the trustee ( until 10 months later, when i told him i wanted to be withdrawn from the plan all together!) When he did go to court on my behalf, he agreed to have me pay $4,000 a month!!! Even when I told him that I could never afford to pay that amount montly over several years?! When I questioned him, he fired me as his client. I retained new counsel, and he was shocked that anyone would ever recommended chap 13 for my situation. He couldn't believe Ralphs agregious, dishonest billing. I ended up withdrawing from Chap 13-as it made ZERO sense in the first place. There was no advantage in it for me whatsoever. Last fall, I posted my experience, and Mr ferro retaliated by publishing my full name- (married and maiden name) and case number and personally attacked my character online. He had his colleague go onto my own companies website and my personal Facebook page to post horrible lies. I own a recruiting firm and, one of her reviews were like "I'd never do business with this firm-Dishonest, unethical owner had to declare bankruptcy etc . ( My chap 13 was due to divorce-never, ever anything to do with my business) I've never even met, or have even known this woman? Yet, she's constantly blogging about how wonderful he is, blah, blah. Please notice that all of the glowing reviews where posted 5-6 months ago. I believe they're 100 percent fake just to offset my initial review. I sit here today, $12k less- because of his egregious fees. I've cancelled my Chap 13( as it never made sense in the first place) my credit history is severely tarnished for years (even when u withdrawal a bankruptcy, it stays on your credit report) Overall, I feel that I was mislead, miscounciled and got Zero results! New lawyer is awesome- actually negotiated with my creditors and set up a reasonable payment plan. Just do your research on Ralph. Get everything in writing, and insist on receiving monthly billing (he neglected to send any invoices) It was a costly mistake. I trusted him during a vulnerable time and I truly regret it today and for years to come. Buyer Beware! read more
