Brought my son in for a haircut--such a cool environment! Feels like a traditional barbershop with great vibes and even better service. We'll definitely be coming back. Loved the experience!

Best Barbershop!

Excellent service at a place that makes you feel right at home. Plus it's a small veteran owned business. Highly recommend!

Love the vibe, super friendly staff, and great attention to detail. 40 is a tad steep for a haircut but it's worth it imo.

Only gripe I have is that the haircut took longer than expected 1 hr and 40 min total (expected was 1 hr 15 min) Ambience (4/5) - overall barbershop is pretty small. Has 3 chairs in the main room and Sergio cuts in a smaller room with his camera equipment, photography stands, Johnny b hair products and tv on the wall Barber Skills (4.5/5) - Sergio used an array of equipment which included shears, razors, clipper over comb, and even knew how to tackle the double cowlick on the back of my head by ensuring to cut in a way that my hair flowed naturally. Sergio was very detailed and precise. The only thing I can knock him for is that the haircut was expected to be 1 hour and 15 min but ended up being 1 hour and 40 min which is quite long. Customer Service (5/5) - Sergio being a hair educator for Johnny B products was very detailed with how he ensured I got the cut I wanted. In the beginning he consulted with what exactly I wanted, throughout the cut he explained to me different products he was using and why, and also some of the steps he did to ensure my double cowlick would grow in nicely after the cut. Sergio also did a razor fade (with shaving gel) which not too many people do nowadays, then styled my hair with blowdrying/pre styler/texture powder/Johnny B pomade. One may think he was marketing the Johnny B product but at the same time I appreciated the care and generosity with styling my hair Conversation (5/5) - Sergio is very easy to talk to and although it was my first ever appointment with him it felt like I've been going to him for a while. Sergio takes time to get to know you as a person and offers to put on a Netflix show or movie of your choice. Gotta appreciate the hospitality. Pricing (5/5): $50 before tip. I'm used to paying around $40 pre tip. However given the fact that Sergio includes part of the haircut for a consultation, is detailed oriented, styles your hair after the cut *with quality products while educating you on them*, allows you to hold the mirror and point out anything you want fixed then the $50 is worth it. $50 for a cut without all those things wouldn't be worth it. --- Images are of my haircut that I received: mid-high fade with a textured top

Unfortunately, after today's experience with Jason, I am beyond disappointed, frustrated, and frankly disgusted by the level of unprofessionalism I witnessed. If you're considering booking an appointment here, I strongly recommend choosing anyone other than Jason. I scheduled an appointment for my son at 11:30 AM. We arrived on time, only to find that Jason still had someone in his chair. No problem. I completely understand that appointments run behind sometimes. That's part of life, and I have absolutely no issue being patient. What I do have an issue with is being completely ignored, disrespected, and treated as though my time means absolutely nothing. Not once were we greeted, acknowledged, given an update, or offered even the slightest courtesy of an explanation. We sat there waiting with absolutely no communication whatsoever. By 11:56 AM, nearly 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, I was ready to walk out. Thankfully, Tommy finally approached us to ask what was going on. I genuinely appreciated that someone at least had the decency to acknowledge our presence. Unfortunately, things only got worse. Around noon, Jason finally decided to acknowledge us, and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. Rather than offering a simple apology or even a polite greeting, he aggressively yelled, "YOU READY?" at me, as though HE was somehow the one who had been inconvenienced. I was genuinely taken aback. Despite his attitude, I remained respectful and simply asked whether there was anything I could do differently in the future to ensure we could be seen closer to our scheduled appointment time. His response? "Well, we get behind." Again, I explained that I completely understood. All I was asking for was a little common courtesy. A simple acknowledgment. A quick heads-up. Literally ANY communication to let us know what was happening. Apparently, even that was too much to ask. Jason proceeded to raise his voice and become increasingly confrontational. At that point, I attempted to de-escalate the situation by saying, "Hey, it's all good. I appreciate you," because I genuinely wanted to move past the awkward interaction. His response? "It doesn't sound like it." Are you kidding me? I was absolutely stunned. Here I was, a paying customer who had shown up on time, patiently waited over 30 minutes without so much as an acknowledgment, and was now being spoken to disrespectfully for simply asking for basic courtesy. At what point did expecting professionalism and respect become unreasonable? I'm 45 years old, and I can say without hesitation that this was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I have ever encountered. And here's what bothered me most: My son was sitting right there witnessing the entire interaction. There was absolutely no chance I was going to allow my son to remain in that chair after being treated that way. Nor was I going to hand over a single cent of my hard-earned money to someone who apparently believes customers should tolerate being yelled at and disrespected. I immediately pulled my son out of the chair, and we walked out. Let me be clear: This review is not about having to wait 30 minutes. I can handle a delay. This is about the complete lack of communication, the unnecessary hostility, and the astonishingly disrespectful attitude we received when I politely asked for a little consideration. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've genuinely loved this place. I've had incredible experiences here, which is why I continued coming back. I don't believe one person's behavior should automatically define an entire business, and I want to acknowledge that Tommy at least made an effort to check on us. But today's experience with Jason was completely unacceptable. Nobody should have to feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or intimidated simply for showing up to an appointment they scheduled in advance. Especially when their child is involved. I walked in expecting a haircut for my son. Instead, I walked out feeling completely disrespected by someone who clearly had no interest in treating us with basic courtesy. Jason, being behind schedule is understandable. Taking your frustration out on a customer who has done absolutely nothing wrong is not. Extremely disappointing, completely unnecessary, and an experience I won't soon forget.
