Overall score: 5/5 - Sergio is a humble and skilled barber, easy to talk to, and goes above and…read morebeyond to provide a great haircut. Only gripe I have is that the haircut took longer than expected 1 hr and 40 min total (expected was 1 hr 15 min) Ambience (4/5) - overall barbershop is pretty small. Has 3 chairs in the main room and Sergio cuts in a smaller room with his camera equipment, photography stands, Johnny b hair products and tv on the wall Barber Skills (4.5/5) - Sergio used an array of equipment which included shears, razors, clipper over comb, and even knew how to tackle the double cowlick on the back of my head by ensuring to cut in a way that my hair flowed naturally. Sergio was very detailed and precise. The only thing I can knock him for is that the haircut was expected to be 1 hour and 15 min but ended up being 1 hour and 40 min which is quite long. Customer Service (5/5) - Sergio being a hair educator for Johnny B products was very detailed with how he ensured I got the cut I wanted. In the beginning he consulted with what exactly I wanted, throughout the cut he explained to me different products he was using and why, and also some of the steps he did to ensure my double cowlick would grow in nicely after the cut. Sergio also did a razor fade (with shaving gel) which not too many people do nowadays, then styled my hair with blowdrying/pre styler/texture powder/Johnny B pomade. One may think he was marketing the Johnny B product but at the same time I appreciated the care and generosity with styling my hair Conversation (5/5) - Sergio is very easy to talk to and although it was my first ever appointment with him it felt like I've been going to him for a while. Sergio takes time to get to know you as a person and offers to put on a Netflix show or movie of your choice. Gotta appreciate the hospitality. Pricing (5/5): $50 before tip. I'm used to paying around $40 pre tip. However given the fact that Sergio includes part of the haircut for a consultation, is detailed oriented, styles your hair after the cut *with quality products while educating you on them*, allows you to hold the mirror and point out anything you want fixed then the $50 is worth it. $50 for a cut without all those things wouldn't be worth it. --- Images are of my haircut that I received: mid-high fade with a textured top

He sent me a link to book an appointment, which was easy enough--only downside was having to download an app and make an account. Once you're signed in though, the booking process is smooth and straightforward. A standard haircut is $50, but there's a first-time customer special for $40, which is a nice touch. When my appointment came, I met Douglas--super chill guy with a private setup inside a salon. I asked for his recommendation, and he just went to work. I was honestly so happy with the results. Usually I leave a barbershop feeling "eh" about my haircut, but this time was different. I walked out feeling like a million bucks, and my wife noticed right away and loved it too. I'll definitely be coming back regularly and highly recommend Douglas if you're looking for a fresh cut and a great experience.

A Whole New Son - Beyond Expectations!…read more We walked in just looking for an estimate -- we walked out with a whole new child. Seriously, I don't know what kind of magic this place is working, but our son went in a little hesitant and shaggy, and came out looking (and feeling!) like a brand-new person. From the moment we stepped in, the staff made him feel comfortable, excited, and even a little proud to be getting his first real haircut. They talked to him directly, asked what he wanted, and gave him a mirror to check out his look -- the empowerment was real. The cut? Impeccable. Clean lines, soft blends, and somehow they captured his personality in a hairstyle. He left smiling like he just landed a lead role in a kids' movie. We came in for a price check and ended up with a core memory. Could not recommend this place more for anyone taking their child in for a first haircut. It's not just a haircut -- it's a full-on milestone moment, and these folks get it.
