I highly recommend Rakers Junk Removal. Very easy to work with and professional. Steven was doing work for my neighbor and I asked if he could help me out when he had finished his job. He was very accommodating and worked me in and temoved a large mirror for me. Very reasonable with his price. Definitely easy to work with. read more

We hired them to take a ton of stuff - heavy furniture, paint cans, mattresses, old bikes, and unneeded stuff because we were downsizing my elderly mother into a much smaller place. My mother had a hard time letting go of these belongings as they were with her for generations - belonging to my late father. The team could sense the feelings wrapped up in this job and were so patient and gentle. They were honest about what could be donated and what would likely be scrap. Two people moved things out while one went through some stuff and separated it for charity. I was chatting with one and they mentioned that the owner had collected over 100 discarded bikes and used his own money to fix them and give them to less fortunate children. I know they also donate to some senior citizen facilities, among other places. Their kind nature and altruism really made a difficult life transition easier for my mother. It may not seem like a lot, but it meant the world to her--and to me. Hire Rakers and support a wholesome, locally-owned company. They'll not only do a great job, they'll make parting with your stuff a little easier. read more

When you are in the process of moving and selling a home everything is so stressful. My dad recently passed away and we needed to clear out a large desk and book cases before selling the home. With a million things on my to do list, I'm really glad that Rakers was able to make this easy and hassle free. I love that you are dealing with the business owner, Steven, when you contact them. He was so prompt and courteous with his response. Scheduling the pick up was easy and they were able to accommodate us within a couple days. I was super surprised when Steven and his wife, Ann, showed up and were "the crew". I had sent him pictures of what we had to haul away, but thought they would need more people. I was wrong. They were right on time for our appointment and got right to work disassembling the desk and book cases. Plus we were even able to add a couple items that we weren't able to give away. I am so thankful I found Rakers. Will definitely use them again - so professional and courteous. Junk Removal Done Right! read more

I've used Steven twice now for junk removal and words can't explain the great experience. Him and his wife were so polite and fast. I had what I thought would be a whole truck loaf but because of the experience he has he was able to fit it in and not charge me for a full truck load. Look at the pictures. They put all of this in the truck in about 25 minutes. Don't second guess it. The wife was even nice enough to sweep up in the garage for me. If you are reading this review I've then a shout. Well worth the money spent every time. read more

I put in a request for junk removal at 10pm on a Wednesday night and Steve responded within the hour. He was at my place at 8am the next morning (actually, he even got there early). We were in a tight bind with having to be out of our place the next day so his quick turnaround was a life saver. We had a bunch of unwanted appliances, clothing, mattresses and miscellaneous small furniture from a recent move. He was able to get everything cleared out in less than 45 minutes. He and his wife were both very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend! read more

Verry eager to get job done reasonably priced helped me gather all of the things up and cut up a tree for me. I've known Ann for over a year from a Christian networking group. She is so energetic and positive, I thought my wife and I really needed to have Ann put her energy to work on our home. Our house had not been deep cleaned in several months. We had to leave for an appointment when Ann started cleaning. When we returned, she was so excited for us to see the amazing changes she had been able to make, and she should have been excited. The floors, bathrooms, carpet and rugs, tile, etc were so vibrant and shining! I had thought we needed to refinish our hardwood floors, but now they looked as good as new. Everything Ann did was meticulous and stunning. I can't find the words to express what an outstanding job she did for us. You need to have this powerhouse Wonder Woman come clean your space. Not only is everything clean, but you feel better just being around someone so overflowing with joy. Now we can't wait to have Ann help us get organized... read more

Responded promptly, set us up on pickup schedule in the 3 days. Arrived on time though it was raining heavily and got straight to work. Love love these guys! My folks tend to drop stuff at my house they don't want and piled on top of endless amazon orders, I wind up with half a garage full of crap that I don't have the time or capacity to sort through/ sell/ donate/ take to the recycling center. I can call them knowing that they won't just throw everything in a landfill. I've used them several times and will actually miss them now that I've moved. They are fast, charge a third what anyone else does, and the best part is their motto: the landfill is the last resort. I can not recommend them highly enough. read more

I put in a request for a quote and received it extremely quick and very reasonably priced. They arrived a little early which was totally fine. Better early than late- right. Very friendly, quick and efficient. Just how I like it. If you need junk removal service please contact them, I would do business with them in the future. read more

Rakers Junk Removal is top notch! My wife and I had under estimated the effort in getting our basement and garage de-cluttered in order to meet a Monday deadline to photograph our home for sale. Rakers took our job on short notice, and on a Sunday no less. While other companies ignored our calls, the Rakers reply was prompt! Their services were very affordable, and most important impeccably fast and thorough. I highly recommend this company and WILL be leveraging their services again soon. 5-Stars! Thanks again! Excellent! Reasonable price and they provided same day service. Called about some random items that were on the front lawn and ready for pick up. Carpet, old tiles, an artificial Christmas tree, old charcoal BBQ, flower pots and other things from the garage. Highly recommended :-) read more

I would highly recommend Rakers for junk removal service! They were the most reasonably priced out of all the bids I received. They are honest, kind and very professional. Rakers arrived on time and I was impressed with the attention given to detail while cleaning. That part of the transaction was satisfactory, however, the rating of 3 given in this review is a reflection of the overall experience. Rakers originally quoted $100 for every 1,000 square feet of cleaning during the initial call. The follow-up conversation to finalize the date and time for the service resulted in a price increase. The new price was $180 for 1 full bedroom with bathroom; hallway; living room and a 1/2 bathroom in a foyer (less than 1,000 sq.ft). When Rakers arrived I was told that there was a discussion about cleaning the microwave in the kitchen and to contact my mother, the owner of the home, about doing a deep clean and paying an additional $20. My mother agreed. Near the end of the cleaning, I was asked to contact my mother again about deep cleaning an area in one of the bathrooms for another $20. To that, my mother also agreed. In the end, the pricing structure represented quite a bit of haggle on Rakers part. The cost wasn't the issue as much as the change in cost continued to be a consistent theme in the transaction. My best suggestion in the future is to offer an estimate that reflects having done a visual inspection of the requested spaces to be cleaned and then give one price consistent with the labor required to do the work. read more
