Rajeunir has been a truly pleasurable experience for me when it comes to IPL treatments for back-hair removal. Where I was at the beginning to where I am today is a significant night-and-day difference. I really wanted to like this place. I signed up at the Briarcliffe location on a whim in February. When I signed up, the representatives working for this location were so focused on getting me in a contract & getting my money that they did not do a consultation with me. When I went to my appointment, I was told I would have to reschedule (after waiting for over 20 minutes) because I hadn't shaved. (Nevermind that noone had bothered to tell me that I needed to or given me any literature informing me of this. The next time I came in, they were running late & when they finally did get me to a room, the tech had switched my file with someone else's. It took us both several minutes to realize what was going on but it did not help the unease that I was already feeling. Last month I had several personal issues crop up including unexpectadly losing a family member, losing my cell phone, and having an issue with my medical reimbursement account at work which caused my check to be $500 short and Rajeunir not to get their monthly payment on 10/31. I didn't receive their calls to my cell because my cell was lost & frankly, this was the last thing on my mind with everything else going on. I finally got my cell back last night & called first thing this morning to see if I could make the payment later this week but still go to my appointment. I was belittled and berated by two members of the staff at this establishment, told that they would not honor my appointment & told that they were going to charge me for today's services because I didn't cancel 24 hours in advance. (Even though they're the ones who cancelled the appointment!) It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I will be paying out my contract, cancelling the renewal & not taking advantage of the rest of what I paid for because these clowns who work here are reprehensible. It is difficult to give five stars to a place that has inflicted so much pain on me, but I guess the old cliche is ever so fitting: No pain, no gain! I have been dying to get a tattoo removed, and have just never found the time to get it done. I found this place on the internet and gave them a call. They scheduled me for a consultation two days later. During the consultation, I explained to the consultant what I wanted done (tattoo and hair removal). She explained to me what I type of results I can expect and the cost. She went over some payment plans that they offer. And at the end of the consultation, to my surprise, she asked if I wanted my first session right away. She said that somebody had cancelled their appointment and I could get in right away. I was ecstatic. So, there I was sitting icing my ankle in preparation for my first tattoo removal session. I had always heard that it was very painful, much more than getting the tattoo. The technician gave me those silly looking glasses to put on and a stress ball. I never did understand the purpose of stress balls. But, I took it from her, laid down, and braced myself. All I can say is OOOOOOUUUUUCCCCCHHHHHHH!!! On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being no pain and 10 being so painful that I lose consciousness, this was probably 8.5 or 9. I had sweat dripping down my face and I was squeezing the bejeezus out of the stress ball. Good thing it only last about 1 minute or less. It was quite painful for about an hour afterwards, and when I looked at my ankle, it reminded me of the patients that I took care of when I worked at a hospital in a burn unit. I went back a few weeks later for hair removal. That was not nearly as painful as the tattoo removal. Although, there were a few moments that I jumped and flinched. Now, a few weeks later, I am pleasantly surprised. I was told that it would take about 6-8 sessions to get the desired results. It might very well take that many sessions, however I can certainly see the progress after only one session. As far as the tattoo removal goes, the progress is a little less evident, but I can certainly see some spots that have lightened up. I was told that the first session of tattoo removal does not usually show a dramatic difference. So, I was happy with my initial results. Of course I will be back. I can't wait to be free of this stupid tattoo. And I look very forward to not having to shave anymore. I may just decide to get laser hair removal on my whole body because I love it so much. This place is clean and professional. However, the absolute biggest plus about this place is the hours of operation. The hours are very conducive to the life of a person who works normal hours. They are open late on Thursdays, which is the only thing that allows for me to make it there in time. read more

This place sucks! They are shady and worthless. I went to them because they were close to me and because I wanted to try their tattoo removal program. During my consultation I was told to expect my tattoo to be ~80% gone...well a year later & almost 700 bucks later it totally wasn't worth it. At most I would say its ~30% lighter. I recieved a free microdermabrasion, because I had SO many issues with them! In my opinion a nice facial scrub would have done what they did. Don't do it. Go elsewhere. Literally the worst establishment I have ever been to. Rude employees, have to call 3-4 times to get ahold of anyone, no one seems to know what they are doing, and terrible facials. Got a dermaplane facial, first lady cut my face in four different places, next time I went in my facial lasted 15 minutes, the last time was actually decent but I still don't recommend Rajeunir. So far the two visits I paid in full for didn't even last 1/2 of the shortest estimated amount of time. I have never used any points on my membership they talked me into. Because of the two completely paid for services not working, I requested to cancel my membership. They have refused to do so even though they were not out any money/services provided. They will not release me from a membership that I have never used. The services I have received were subpar at best. I was hesitant to begin with as a male going in for a procedure anyway. Kind of embarrassing but the ladies there were extremely professional and made me feel comfortable. I liked the pricing structure which made it affordable as well. I will definitely be going back. Ask for Katelyn at the Overland Park location......she was great! Finishing up two years of removing a tattoo that is literally just an outline of an arrowhead and it's barely faded. Not at all what they told me would happen. my results were no minimal for the anti-celulite treatment at Briarcliff. I lost 8 lbs with hard work and diet and was hoping this would help with my appearance of loose skin. it did not help at all and they tell you when you first sign up if you are not happy with results you get your payments adjusted. You don't - I have to finish paying the full $1500 even though my results are less than noticeable. This does not work save your money. read more
