Well, I last week rang up to book a delivery, at 4.30. I was informed that they don't take orders for delivery till 5.00, and that we wouldn't get it till 5.45, I said this was longer than I'd hoped, paused, and said sorry about that..there was a pause.so I said thanks, anywaythere was a pause, and then the guy hung up, having not had the decency to say a word, since I told him politely that I no longer wished to order, effectively. We then rang back, to book a COLLECTION, at about 4.45, and he told us we'd have to wait till 5.15, to collect it. My friend was on the phone at this point, and I said that that was silly, as if we had gone to the place, and placed an order, we would have it much sooner, so why couldn't they have it ready sooner, for us to collect. My friend asked the guy to hang on, a moment, while we discussed it, a minute later, she went back on the phone, and he'd hung up, again! Despite it only being a minute, her asking him to wait, and the fact that he would clearly have heard us talking, so would have known she was still there. Add to this the fact that, when having placed an order in the restaurant, one worker said, rather rudely, sit down, please!, as I waited at the counter; and someone tried to overcharge me, another timeand I can honestly say I will never order from them again.
